Quite clearly they'd bought in the national anthems from a foreign source as the Danish anthem was sang by the same choir. There was a four bar pause before the singing started in the Eddie Hearn remix which doesn't usually occur. All said, sounded bad on the night but not exactly terrible.

Proof that boxing is becoming more like WWE/UFC was that "Welcome to the Jungle" was played after Froch won which usually doesn't happen.

froch should of requested the irish anthem, the words soldier and warriors are mentioned throughout the chorus and verse's, its even called "a soldiers song"

I don't like GSTQ as up here it's sung by mainly **** wits, but credit to the 02 crowd as that was a passionate **** you to Islamic terrorist ****s.

 

We just thought it was the instrumental but watching back it was the full anthem. It was a mess really. But the heart was in right place.

 

Its not my anthem, but it did appear to be sung.

I thought I sung it quite beautifully Saturday night, followed by my mate who twated my arm and I spilt my pint down some lady's top.. Unintentional of course..

 

I think they will push to change it. We live in A different time. Most people don't beleive in God and most people don't like Charles.
