So true. Not to mention the racist **** he constantly spouted.

It's mind blowing how guillable people are. It's enough to search a little bit on ali to see what he really was.

The most overrated ever, in everything.

That was pretty good. He didn't even have to say anything either. He just started working on that cube when Froch was talking.

Fury is definitely the best and they need to get him in front of the US public.

If Wilder proves to be the genuine article maybe the HW division can restore some interest when you have him, Wlad, Fury, Anthony Joshua and lets say Haye comes back, there can be some fights of interest. You could have Joshua fight Chisora at some point and build him that way to a fight with any of these other guys.

    It's completely

Like I said in the OP, you can feel like he decided "I gotta be big and loud, I gotta do my best Ali."

You watched the press conference and thought Wilder was the one who was terrible on the mic? :huh Did you not hear Stiverne?

    *Looking down and sounding extremely uncomfortable* " ...uum....like to...um...uugh...first of all my manager...uugh....my trainer....uum y'know..uh everybody...um..ugh Goldenboy...um...uugh..."

He eventually got into it a bit though.

Wilder looked comfortable and confident on the mic, like he was happy to be there. For a boxer he wasn't bad at all.

This was not Wilder at his best:-(
I have heard several interviews and he is funny but this time he was trying too hard

I have talked with him on a boxing radio show and he just flows with humor:good

I think he is feeling the pressure at the stage:smoke

I was actually surprised by how well Stiverne handled himself on the mic, maybe was a little too personal at times, but man he really dug into Wilder.

Deontay on the other hand was just weird and awkward on the mic, kind of a try hard. His whole opener with him thanking Jesus and how he plans on making stiverne suffer like Jesus suffered was just weird

Stiverne even without trying to trash talk he sounds mean. He's also stone cold most of the time. What was Stiverne on about Wilder making a prayer and then saying it was disrespectful?

Stiverne is a man of very FEW words so I did not expect much from him. I will say the one with the most substance in his words was Stiverne:yep

Wilder struggled and it just all seemed forced.....I don't get it bro:-(
That JESUS talk was not cool:patsch

Out of order? Look at what was going on around him and to his people in the 60s (in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave, mind you) and you say Ali was out of order? I'd venture to say that the horrors of what was happening to Blacks in the 60s wouldn't go over too well in today's "PC" world, either. Think about that for a moment...man, talk about a one-sided view...

Damn, had to get off track...but yeah, Deontay seemed a bit unpolished on the mic yesterday. Seemed a tad bit nervous, but hell, I'd be nervous too. Biggest fight of his career. Pero vamos a ver...

    RCS, so true.

Ali was a good promoter of his fights and made many funny comments about his opponents. However he was given too much of a free pass even by 60s/70s standards for obvious reasons.

i thought he was very good at hyping this fight in the press conference, he was hyped and loud and obnoxious, stiverne was cool calm and obnoxious, ying yang, i liked it. i feel if wilder wins it will be good for boxing as long as he can keep backing up that big mouth of his, he will sell a lot of fights.

Agreed 100%. I can't even listen to this re****. It's cringe worthy. I can tolerate Broner no problem, but Wilder I have no interest in hearing anything he says, ever. He's somewhat entertaining to watch, but he shouldn't try to be like this. He just comes off as a total moron. He'd be better off saying nothing at all and just poleaxing people.
