Thats what im worried about, hes with Frank Warren so may fight comedians for a few years and get stale ala Calzaghe. Difference is Calzaghe enjoyed being a conman...I hope Brooke gets used to it.

Maybe he should hire Nazim Richardson, who knows how to "swim without getting wet".

Because nobody wants to see it.

I suspect Bart probably hacked you and deleted it.

He should fight Carlos "Forever a gatekeeper but once the undisputed WW champion by upsetting chinny Zab Judah" or "I'm Zab's Tata" Baldomir, that would be an excellent test in a few fights.

Nah. I will go out on a limb and say I see Kell coming up way short, specifically against pressure fighters of B- quality.

He's not the puncher he appears in his recent outings. He has literally been fighting glass jawed fighters like McIntyre, and a guy woefully out of his depth that is Area level standard in Elwell. He shouldn't have even been fighting for that belt. Knocking these guys out is not a huge deal, but he did look good doing it. However, previously he seemed nothing more than a decent puncher. Barrie Jones gave him some trouble, I don't think there is any coincidence in that, I think Kell's power was flattered by his recent opponents.

Also, I don't think he's half as fast as he thinks, and he's certainly not got Hamed's reactions to pull off that hands slightly down and chin in the air style. He pulls his chin up when throwing a right cross, and drops his hands when he moves back.

I think when you see him fighting a tough guy that brings the fight to him instead of admiring his work - he will be able to take Kell's moderately good power. He'll get inside on Brook and have a field day on that defence. I think he's going to crumble.

I'd like to see him against a tough fighter like Matt Hatton that will test him.

Baldomir would beat him up. I'm certain.

Matty Hatton might very well beat him....he's looked very good recently, with decent wins over Bami and Tackie (getting rid of the memories of the one-sided loss to Craig Watson)

Look out for Bongani Mwelase, who is the next international Welterweight star!!!

Kell Brook and Nathan Cleverly for me are gonna be world champions. Both got a huge amount of potential.

Very average power, good speed but poor defence and sloppy footwork. He gets caught leaning back and trys to pull away from shots rather than slipping them or moving his feet properly to take him out of range.
His chin is not anything special and so far he has fought a selection of the lightest hitters in the whole of boxing.

He will never be world class from what I have seen, but does have nice hand speed, throws decent combinations and is fairly entertaining. Euro level I think.
