Going ringside again...

    Getting my tickets today for tge Liverpool Olympia show. £60 ringside, bargain! Never been to the Olympia though. Any one tell me what atmosphere is like? Look like a decent bill though.
    Lot of people saying selby is a tough opponent for swifty. I can't say I know much about him? Can anyone enlighten me?
    I expect smigga to put Samuels away. What will be interesting is who he fights next. He's down to fight at the echo next month. I hear he wants a shot a geale at middleweight, rather than call out Murray. Wonder what sort of opposition he will get as prep for a geale fight if indeed it cones off.
    Looking forwardto it though.

    yeah i got ringside seats 2 !
    it should be full as both smiths, and fielding both sell tickets!
    atmosphere was great for the smith v simpson fight!
    looking fwd to watching joe selkirk! should be a great night!

    You have done the right thing Avid. The Olympia is a fantastic venue rightup there with York Hall, Kelvin Hall, in terms of it being a great one the great British Boxing venues.

    You will have a great view wherever you are in the Olympia and Ringside means you should get to meet a few of the boxers. Usually all over the Gallagher stable is out when a Gallagher fighter in on the bill.

    Atmosphere is amazing I was there for when Rocky Fielding won prizefighter and when Price beat Butler and Swifty fought Simpson everybody went mental when Smith and Price hit their respective opponents with the big shots in the first. Holds about 1500 in all. Very ornate place though falling apart in places still outstanding setting for a boxing venue.

    Have a great time really good bill this if I can wrangle myself a ticket I may still be going to this myself.

    Sounds great. Glad I've decided to go to be honest.

    Avid likes celebs! Might find a new boxer to stalk!

    Well, I've got to admit I'm gonna come over all fan boy here.

    Just met swifty to collect my tickets. What a fella. Dead down to earth. Happy to talk for a good 10 minutes about boxing etc. Made weights well he said.

    I was ringside for Priceys fight against Dallas I actually prefered being right at the front of the balcony, but thats just my personal preference

    i was at the front of the balcony right in the middle for the price fight, nice view. im at ringside for this one, never been ringside before so im looking forward 2 it!
