All I can say is calm down, stop thinking about it. Go in and have some fun, challenge yourself and work hard and your experience of boxing should be good.

The point is you don't know this though... Even if you have a good idea you won't quit you still have never taken a punch or been in in the ring.

So it makes you seem like you are trying to act hard when you have never been in their yourself and yet you talk about getting hit, what weight class you want to be and about your reach you want.

Its good that you are looking forward to boxing but just tone it down a bit. You are overthinking and talking about it waaay to much for not having went before. So just calm down and let us all know how you're first training session when you eventually have it. :good

Alright, I do get what you're saying. I don't feel like arguing though. So yeah, will update this thread on Jan 31.

Might even honestly push it up a week to the 24th, if I feel my knee is up to it.

But, anyone know where I can get passport photos? I don't have a digital printer. I have my $48, I have my own handwraps, he has the forms I need to sign, I can get a copy of my birth certificate, but I'm still missing the 2 photos.

I don't know about in the US but here you can get them done in a lot of Pharmacies.

A pharmacy? Really? Hmm, would've never thought of that, seems out of place.

    You mean like CVS?

No idea what CVS is but you can get them done at Clear Pharmacy and Boots in the UK so if CVS is similar to them then yeah maybe. I don't know how it works in the US but is worth a shot.

So you're going to ignore the advice given in the other thread about starting boxing early, after, if I remember correctly, your 3rd knee operation?

No, I said if my knee feels okay...if it felt okay, obviously it wouldn't be too early.

I wasn't, my surgeon wasn't helpful at all, it's up to my discretion.

Yes, I'm currently a fatty. Working on losing a lot of fat now.

Thanks for the added motivation :good

If my knee is fine, I don't see the problem.

If it's not, I'd never consider starting boxing until I felt I could.
