Yes but you said you don't want to be skinny, skinny guys can be strong and you'd have lost weight. I just don't get why you predicted 175...

When I say skinny, I mean I don't want to be a 135 pound weakling, that's all. And I just said 175 because that's the weight that I feel comfortable at. If I'm anymore, I feel it's too heavy, any less I feel is too skinny.

But obviously I'll decide once I actually start boxing.

IT DOESNT!! but if your body is comfortable, you got great reach for yourweight. I wouldnt be surprised if in a year/ year in a half your 10-20 pounds heavier

MURDR you seem to talk alot.. Strength is actually not used in a boxing match. Power is, and power is made up of speed and strength. Lose weight gain speed but lose strength and vice verse. And as stated above you cannot do both in the same time.. having the motivational quote in your head is good but your gonna do the mistake i did and regret. I had a shitload of motivation, i was this 15 year old kid who just wanted to go out and be the best and win one day. I kept that mindstate to the extreme where if i did something wrong i would blame it all on myself and thats what happened. Box cause you enjoy Boxing, as far as your weight i suggest not putting any targets, just see what works for you best and experiment around for now. Train, train hard cause you will fail and when you fail its your brain that shows you how much strength you got.

I feel healthy, and although it doesn't really means ****, they did these BMI tests in school and i scored 18 which is apparently only slightly underweight, I don't really know. They're not really accurate anyway.

I wouldn't be surprised either, happened to my dad when he was my age so yeah.

Your BMI is about 17, you could stand to gain a few good pounds. And by a few I mean 20.
