    Burt posted one here a few months back that was similar. It was a guy who once held the shot-put world record and went on to become a boxer. I don't think he was a gold medal winner though.

    Burt might have meant Jack Torrance who held the world shotput record at one time and then took up boxing. He was ko'd by Abe Simon.
