    There is absolutely no build up for Canelo vs Cotto, none. It almost feels like it should be free. My god Broner vs Khabib had better build up to the fight and he didn't say anything.
    Cotto goes and gets stripped for the title because he just flagrantly won't fight or even lie about fighting GGG.

    The last good fight build up is happening between Wlad and Tyson and the U.S. media won't acknowledge it. That press conference almost put me to sleep. Oscar needs to be ashamed of himself.

    Even Manny picking a last opponent nobody cares about. People cried more when Floyd picked Berto, not even a whimper for whoever Manny picks(this is off topic, I know).

    The only guy left who can make a fight is Haymon and props to K2 for at least trying and failing 2 mega fights this year and the build up was lack luster.

    It's as if they didn't care because the majority of Cotto's and Canelo's money come from ppv sales. At $75 I think they would only need to sale 400k ppv to cover the bare minimum of Cotto and Canelo paychecks. Between the live gate and whatever they get over 400k it seems like they're just content with that.

    Damn. Oscar was too busy worrying about Mayweather rather than promoting this fight.

    Bad year for boxing networks money wise. The May/Pac PPV letdown almost destroyed everything. This fight has been announced now for what 3-4 months? They are just hoping the names sell the fight with not 1 dime extra spent.

    I'm going to the fight with my wife. The tickets have been grossly over priced. Prices are finally starting to come down. But I have a guy in Vegas who will sell me 2 lower level tickets at a decent price he said.

    I don't talk as many Mexicans as I used to anymore, I can only hope there is a vibe for this fight in that community.

    Nah, I got a government job and there's just not that many working in the government. And all the ones I used to know I lost contact with as I usually do. They always have some gangster family members who wanna treat like I'm a rival gang because I'm PR, it's only a matter of time before it ends up all bad.
