All these guys are snakes, but let's all ask ourselves this question: If Arum and Don King could work to gather, why can't (or won't) Arum work with Schaefer?

All these snakes need to make the most meaningful fights. What they are all doing to the sport is indelibly hurting fistiana.

 

What has happened is that Schaefer is "Promoting" fighters that are not under Goldenboy. They are doing it for a "fee" so basically they are Al Haymon fighters, like Mayweather which are "fighting under goldenboy" but not really on Goldenboy.

Using the Goldenboy License to promote, while not being under a true promoter contract. Canelo is one that they surely do have under contract.

So I mean, HBO was upset that Schaefer used them to build up fighters and then would take them to Showtime. Now Schaefer is using Goldenboy to build up fighters, all without a long term contract so that when Al is ready, Al Haymon promotions kicks off and he has all of those fighters to sign up.

Haymon doesn't have a promoter's license. Same with Mayweather, so that's why they have to go through GBP and pay them
