I know that but I'd still consider it a big disappointment given they were talking about a million watching Duno (which peaked at 23k or 24k...) and that Linares is a pretty big name unable to get more than 20k watching...

I'm liking all the free content recently (facebook and youtube) but it feels like it's not yet being marketed properly and there is a huge untapped market to crack

    Round 3

Linares is very suavely deflecting Cotto's left hooks on his right forearm, brushing them away, then incising with a powerful and blazing fast ramrod jab. Linares works a counter 1-2 and hurts Cotto, sending him back & down. Cotto grabs Linares and pulls him down with him. Cotto in a daze from Linares' heavy unanswered textbook power blows. Cotto stumbling around the ring and gets himself almost stuck in the ropes. Corner people on the apron with a towel but the ref is already starting to wave.

    KO3!!

To be real, it is a guy that got blasted out by Figgy in 1 round lol, and seems to be very chinny.

Wilder has never thrown combinations that smooth and technically well executed in his life.

I mean, he can't really box a lick, but physically speaking Figgy in his pomp was a little bulldozer tbf.

I know it was a massive step down in class from Lomachenko (and even from Linares' usual standard of competition for a while before that...probably his worst opponent since Javier Prieto, four years ago) but MAN that was a sensational performance.

True. But I don't think a win over Abner Cotto really proves anything. He can win a title against a Hooker, but he's not beating a Prograis, Taylor, or Ramirez.

You defeated a name today that holds legendary status. Lmfao. That's one of the dumbest things I've heard.

Nobody's saying this win per se means anything. The point here was to see how Linares was LOOKING after the Lomachenko fight.

This was an exercise in studying form, irrespective of who stood in the other corner.

A: He's looking damn good at LWW.

Cotto also went the distance with Francisco Vargas and Miura didn't. Figueroa was a wrecking machine until he ate his way up to 140. Stop trying to discredit the win, that was impressive.:deal:

JoJo and the Coach, sounds like it should be a 70's sitcom starring Freddie Prinze Sr.
