Avilés is actually shaking off the knockdown well and bringing the fight to Duno, jabbing with him in the middle of the ring, unafraid. Duno is only getting the best of exchanges when he is able to get a little space between them and get some purchase on his torpedo shots downstairs. On the inside Avilés is actually out-landing him in combination, as well as countering his way counterclockwise at mid--range. Duno lands a couple of thumps on his chest late to maybe seal it.

Round 3

Avilés is jabbing his way clear of Duno's right hands downstairs falling in. Avilés is lining up counter rights, himself collapsing halfway inside but then pulling out erect and circling away with his guard up. Intelligent boxing from Avilés. Duno just slugging. Avilés caught at the end of a couple of punches but always stepping with them and taking off the sting. Avilés in control, tagging Duno with counters after he lunges. Duno's body shots are now wild slashes, hitting primarily between the hip and knee as he presses Avilés into the corner.

Round 4

Duno is warned for going low, but Avilés recovers pretty quickly. Avilés is walking Duno face-first onto lead right hands after feinting with the jab and drawing the first step from Duno, catching him as he's winding up telegraphed wide body shots. Duno is flicking out an untidy jab now, spraying in some right hands behind it, with Avilés easily dodging everything along the ropes. Avilés is jabbing Duno's sideburns and neck from outside, keeping him like a ball on a string. Nice reach-in head-body combo by Avilés, scraping the belly with a hook after burying a 1-2 into the guard.

First round we've agreed on (of the ones that we've really had a choice..10-8 is 10-8 )

I think you could argue it being anywhere from 39-36 Duno to 38-37 Avilés, depending on how one scores rounds 2 & 3.

 

JoJo Diaz has it 39-36 Duno, giving Avilés only round 3.

 

Facebook marks scoring along have it 40-35 Duno.

 

Round 5

Avilés is letting Duno boss him around now, hugging the ropes, scampering from the corners and getting mowed under constant fire as Duno cranks in right hands up top and hyper-extends stabs at the body. Avilés is playing coy, not taking many chances to create any scoring opportunities for himself with counters, just purely defense - and Duno is still getting a piece of him on the front-foot.
