It's the best version of Rocha we have seen though.

Impressive performance from Rocha, hopefully he can get that rematch with Santillan soon.

I'm not going to lie, that was a better-looking Rocha than we've seen. He at least wasn't getting trapped on the ropes by bigger guys anymore.

    Final stats:

    Rocha 184 of 548, 34%
    Domínguez 89 of 459, 19%

Doubled homebody's shots connected and percentage. That's a conclusive victory.

Rocha bounced back pretty well. Utilized his footwork a lot better on offense and defense. Good work from his opponent, but I think he needs a few more fights vs mobile opponents and not just fighters with the "Mexican Style" offensive approach. It's pretty obvious that's what he is use to.

On a side note, I hate that the commentators said he's not on the Crawford or Boots level and Rocha should select his opponent wisely.

I agree on the Crawford aspect, but Crawford's in a different division anyway. But Boots......Rocha beats everyone on Boots resume handily. He's better than Avaneysan and Karen.....Boots' last 2 opponents and they gave Boots issues either with movement or exposed holes in his defense. I'm not saying he should gun for Boots next fight, but he's in the ball park.

It was an odd comment to make after Mora praised him to high heavens for 10 rounds.

Exactly. But it just goes to show how I feel boxing and these platforms function.

Jaron Ennis is being groomed as the next great. Regardless of the fact he's yet to fight a single opponent that will ever win a world title in his division, they praise him as if he dominated great opponents. His most accomplished opponent to date is Sergy Lipinets. A former 140lb champ. Boots himself has yet to "win" a world title. The belt he's carry now was won off the fists of the man he's building his legacy around his name. Terence Crawford.

100% agreed, all you hear is "they are great they are great! Wow look how amazing they are" without fighting anyone of note. ESPN is also a prime perpetrator of this
