Domínguez is hit with a body shot that he indicates went low, but the ref doesn't appear to buy it (nor does Sergio Mora). Domínguez backed into a corner by a series of left uppercuts downstairs. Rocha scrambles away before Domínguez can mount his own attack. Rocha holding now after eating a long left jab. Domínguez playing watch the birdie with his left glove. Rocha spins him into the ropes and unloads a combo, then a left hand lead that stings him visibly. Wild underhanded swings by Domínguez, and Rocha counters with a left uppercut on the belt line. Domínguez is badly hurt, selling it as low, but Ray Corona says no it was legal, fight on. Wild flurry downstairs by Domínguez. Rocha holds, then lets go and rips a few shots into Domínguez's head.

Domínguez comes out aggressive, throwing bombs and trying to trap Rocha on the ropes. Rocha spins free firing back. Lots of movement from Rocha. The right jab is kept up in Domínguez's face as cover for the left hand delivered low. Domínguez tries wailing his way inside and is getting punished with left uppercuts to head and body when he does. Rocha with some nice pull-counters.
