Domínguez reaching with the right hand, throwing it straight or looping, and getting needled with right jabs. Rocha working combinations while gliding laterally wide around Domínguez, taking most of his glancing punches' edge off. Domínguez is marching along on a string getting hit far more than he's getting his own touches in.

I was confused earlier why the ring emcee began the introductions by saying "the championship is already present in the ring". They only just now updated this detail on the card's BoxRec page, but this is apparently for the WBO's vacant NABO welterweight title.

 

Round 6

Domínguez is growing more gun shy now as he gets countered regularly. Rocha is able to drift side to side and open up with pot shots off the southpaw jab. Corona warns them both for holding roughly against the ropes. Domínguez loading up, trying for a big torpedo right on the body, but never quite gets the angle or distance down right.

Talk about instant image rehabilitation. Rocha couldn't have asked for a better bounceback from the Santillán loss...assuming this doesn't fall apart in the last few rounds.
