To clarify, which fighters are under contract to Golden Boy and which fighters are not under contract but promoted for a fee.

    The obvious ones:

    Canelo - under contract

Mayweather - not under contract / promoted for a fee

    What about the rest?

Everyone bar Floyd is signed to GBP, no other fighter that works with GBP has the clout to do this (except for Cotto who has appeared on a GBP card once), they either sign a promotional contract or **** off!

Oscar said he will work with Bob Arum, Schaefer said that he is the CEO and that he will not work with Arum for fights. However, Schaefer is the CEO, Oscar owns GBP. Schaefer had said that Oscar can fire him before he will work on a fight with Bob Arum................so is appears that the trouble has not been with Oscar, it has been with Schaefer...........

This is false. Al haymon doesn't have his fighters sign long term promotional contracts with golden boy. Some are signed but many go on a fight by fight basis.

    This.

Many pundits have speculated that this is actually the heart of the rift between Schaefer and Oscar. Some of GBP investors/ODH financial backers not happy that many "GBP fighters" arent actually GBP fighters, but rather Haymon fighters making use of GBP promotional license and TV dates.

Personally I think Oscar trying to patch things up with Arum and HBO was sparked by a desire to be able to make fights for non-Haymon GBP fighters with non-Haymon guys. Its really the only way to loosen Haymon's hold on GBP.
