    Round 2

Valadez sticks his jab quickly and ducks a counter jab from Anderson. Valadez is elevating his jab and dropping it down like a hammer on Anderson's face. Anderson keeps grinning and running away. Anderson literally blocks the jabs of Valadez by putting his gloves together turned outward and opened up and flapping them down like a kitten. Valadez keeps trying to pin Anderson on the ropes and tear into him with body punches. Anderson keeps slipping and running. Valadez lunges with a left hook that wobbles Anderson a bit but the fat clown grabs and holds him. Valadez tries to work Anderson over on the inside but has his arms grabbed and can't do much. Anderson again puts his hands behind his back and sticks his chin out but almost gets caught. Valadez is getting held back by his lack of speed.

    Round 3

Anderson runs forward with a meaty hook that Valadez blocks but doesn't counter. Anderson goes back to running, now laterally, and wraps an arm around the waist of Valadez literally spinning him in place while running in a crouch and playing up to the crowd. The referee laughs while admonishing him. Valadez keeps trying to make a real fight out of it but Anderson won't comply with his constant mixture of running, clowning, potshotting, and clinching. He even pantomimes smoothing back his receding hairline with both palms within inches of Valadez. Some people in the crowd are cracking up, while others are screaming for Valadez to murder the bum. He does suddenly land a few hard power punches that have Anderson hanging on desperately. Anderson is pinned on the ropes until they are broken up and shortly afterward Valadez knocks him down ,flat on his back. Anderson gets up but is quickly attacked again and has to tie up.

    Round 4

Valadez is scoring cleanly with left hooks, straight right hands, and shoveling punches to the body. Anderson is trying to turn side to side in an effort to blunt the impact but is getting hurt. He still drops his hands and clowns, with a little wiggle of his butt outside of range. Valadez is getting inside and ripping shots, hurting Anderson until he clinches. Anderson hasn't learned his lesson and squats in front of Valadez, leaning forward with his hands low. Valadez just watches him for nearly a full minute before pouncing with a left hook and right hand combo. Anderson grabs and drops love taps on him in the clinch. Anderson bends over and touches his toes with his fists to show off how untouchable he thinks he is, but doesn't get out of the way of a big Valadez right hand that nearly knocks him out. He is saved by the bell.

Anderson climbs up on one of the turnbuckles and pumps his fists, to raucous boos.

One girl keeps screaming "Bull****!" - as though she hasn't already gotten her money's worth tonight. :conf

Valadez, of course, improves to 3-1 (1) while Anderson falls to 1-9 (1).

One has a future entertaining on Fight Night Clubs for some time to come (although he won't ever be a contender). The other thinks he's entertaining but doesn't belong anywhere near a ring again, unless it's some middling indie pro-wrestling circuit.

In our last attraction, Eddie "Bossman" Hunter looks to reconcile his present losing record of 3-4-2 against fellow 23-year-old super middleweight Dion Savage, who has won all 9 of his fights with 5 by KO.

    Round 1

Savage has poor balance but a quick and busy jab, which he keeps working up high while hooking it on every few releases. He also slaps to the body with a right hand as Hunter dodges on his toes. Savage walks into a right hand and is buzzed but regains his composure and gets back into his rhythm. Hunter loads up on a wild overhand right but gets countered hard and nearly loses his legs.

    Round 2

An incredibly loud Savage hook reverberates throughout the thinning venue, but Hunter stays up on his feet and moving around while shaking it off. Savage is trying to get Hunter to open up by pestering him with short inside punches after cutting the ring off and getting between his feet and squared up inside his wide stance. Hunter is blasting away with uncoordinated shots but it's enough to clog the lane and prevent Savage from getting a clean straight punch off. The clubbing power of Savage up close is still enough to force Hunter to retreat. Hunter swipes with a hook to get out of the corner but misses and is nearly countered hard. Their feet get tied up as Hunter circles to his left. An inexplicable chant of "Oscar" starts up near the end of the round - maybe De La Hoya got up to pee?

    20-18 Savage

    Round 3

Savage tries to line up a hook from the outside but doesn't have the reach for it. He does, however, land an uppercut when Hunter rushes in. They trade punches and Hunter actually lands a nice hook of his own while headhunting. Savage mixes up his shots to the body and his greater power ensures that Hunter abandons the pocket and gets back on the run. Savage catches him tripping over his own feet with a massive hook that leaves him prone under the bottom rope for a moment. The bell is immediately rung and the fight is over. Hunter is furious - literally hopping mad and asking to continue. The crowd chants "let him fight!" but there are already people in the ring as it's over.

 Roger Mayweather is by himself autographing shirts in the ring and tossing them into the all-but-dispersed crowd. He must have trained one of these kids tonight.

    That's all folks!

    Round 1

Sanchez is a six foot tall lightweight. This looks a lot like a ghetto-fabulous version of Pacquiao and Margarito in the ring.

Maldonado lets his hands go ferociously and very fast and knocks Sanchez down in the first minute with a mercurial looping left. He continues to flurry and gets Sanchez backing up and trying to trade with him. He forgets to tighten up at the end of one of these flurries and Sanchez counters him with a right hand, knocking Maldonado to the ropes where he is given a count. Maldonado isn't hurt and comes back with a strong straight left. Maldonado continues to take fast upward swipes at Sanchez, not really going for accuracy.

Someone remind me how to score rounds where both go down? W/O either KD, Maldonado won the round 10-9.

I'm bored enough to watch this tonight, but I wish there were a few better match-ups. I mean, Carlos Molina is a prospect but does he have to fight a guy who is 7-7? I like match-ups with prospects with other dudes who are 10-4 for example, but like I said, thanks for the heads up, I'll be watching in a bit

    Round 2

Maldonado calms down a bit and works behind his southpaw jab. He turns the right elbow up to block some of the return shots of Sanchez, who's just pawing and trying to use his long reach to put a distracting hand in Maldonado's face for the most part. Doug Fischer compares Maldonado to Johnny Tapia, which makes no sense. Maldonado holds and hits in a clinch and spins Sanchez around while tagging him in the gut. A big cracking left hand landing at a high incline for Maldonado ends the round.

    This one's easier. 10-9 Maldonado
