Round 4

Lora paws with his jab and feints hooking off it. No power punches, and he isn't even trying to gain Valadez's respect...just moving and creating space. Valadez finds it difficult to land his jab as Lora keeps dancing just out of range and rolling his shoulders. Doug Fischer refers to Lora's movement as having a "salsa rhythm". Lora is trying to win the round on just his jab, pumping it numerous times into Valadez's face while circling. A couple of body shots mixed in as well. Valadez has landed the more telling blows in the round but is getting outworked down the stretch. Lora getting bold and whipping the body up close. They trade headshots for the final 10 seconds, Lora's head snapping back.

 

Round 5

Valadez starts leading with rights, still very measured. No urgency. They get to trading again as Lora hangs inside, and Valadez catches him with a big left hook. Lora is buzzed but keeps circling in close and popping his jab. Valadez goes back to his tentative minimalism, missing his jab or throwing one lead right and then admiring his work. They hook together and both are rocked, taking involuntary steps apart. Lora lands another flush hook. Lora stays right there at mid-range launching 1-2's.

Round 6

Lora throws a chopping lead right. Valadez parries but doesn't look to counter or take his own turn offensively. Lora is just flashing a jab while turning Valadez and preventing him from getting anything going. Lead right is blocked but drives Valadez back. Lora slips a jab and lands a soft high hook while hopping to his left, poorly angled and leveraged. Lora comes slapping forward now with several light headshots. Valadez is getting caught but not hurt. Valadez keeps firing his 1-2 on a pulley system, trying to bash Lora away and making just incidental contact as Lora stays kinetic.

Draw for me, but Valadez will probably get it.

That is not the best he's looked. Then, Lora is a bit tricky.

Round 1

Ocon pops his right jab, doubling it lightly. Ocon's left hand comes over as a straight left that isn't so straight, and an uppercut that curls up very slowly. His arsenal is not very impressive so far. For his part, Pizzaro is content to palm-slap Ocon's jabs away and throw some right hands down the middle at the southpaw (but from a leaned-back stance which nullifies the effect). Ocon flurries a bit, landing to the body but nothing terribly crisp. Ocon throws a hard four punch combo and lands only a left hook in the midst of it.
