    :conf

Wow, I just realized that even that guy Ocon from earlier tonight stopped Diaz! :patsch

It's safe to say Blanco is not developing into a master finisher.

    Round 1

Reyes comes swarming in and takes a few wild uppercuts to the face as he pumps his arms straight in on Garcia. Hard slapping hook by Garcia as Reyes keeps coming. Both are throwing hard and Reyes continues to get caught as he attacks wildly and gets more shots off. Garcia tries to time him with a hook or 1-2. Reyes settles and puts a guard up as he hops around and throws clubbing combos. Reyes is now blocking a lot of Garcia's slow but picked shots, and is landing hard overhands and uppercuts. Reyes again caught with a hook as his hands drift from his face. Garcia throws wildly and scrapes the crossed forearms of Reyes before just missing altogether. Overhand combos pour on from Reyes.

    10-9 Reyes

    Round 2

Reyes comes wading in again with hard uppercuts and is caught once more with counter hooks. Again, he settles down and starts to box from the outside (behind a jab this time) and has better success. Garcia gets only one good right hand in throughout the ensuing exchanges as Reyes mauls him up close. Uppercutting combo from Reyes, going down to the body well. Garcia is hurting from the body shots, folding up and backing off in a hurry. Reyes walks into a couple of jabs and momentarily ties up before pushing off. Garcia tries to wrest his left arm free to hook but has Reyes leaning on it. Spanking body shots by Reyes. Fall-in right hand by Reyes. Wild flurry by Reyes. Very little from Garcia.

    20-18 Reyes

    Round 3

Right uppercut to the body by Reyes immediately, hopping around quickly so that Garcia can't catch him with anything silly (but still not bothering to move his head or protect his face much). Garcia tries to answer the challenge to exchange body punches but finds that Reyes is moving too fluidly to get more than once. Garcia lunges with jabs, chasing Reyes across the ring until collapsing atop him in a clinch against the ropes. BIG 1-2 by Reyes pulling back swiftly out of the pocket. Garcia leans back into him, recovering. Stinging towel-snap right hand and left hook combo to the body by Reyes. Garcia battles his way off the ropes and lands a short right hand but isn't getting much snap off as he's throwing off balance and on the turn.

    30-27 Reyes

    Round 4

Garcia is just leaping in with hooks now, trying to smash Reyes to the mat with one big one. Fischer commends his newfound conviction, but this is a plan Z if ever there was one. Reyes is almost effortlessly dodging and counter-flurrying his attacks despite not being as bristling with energy as he was in the first nine minutes. Lots of combos by Reyes as he hops around. He's still keeping his hands down, and is now hopping slower. Reyes gets caught by multiple punches now. Garcia is just too slow to land more than two very often, although the chances are there. Reyes taps the body with both hands and trots off to one side. Garcia chases him into a corner and digs some uppercuts to the body. A pair of shoeshines by Reyes as he circles, blocked. Garcia charges after him and leaps in with a jab, catching him on the chin.

    39-37 Reyes

Undefeated Kavanaugh - sporting a green plain scally cap and with Freddie Roach in his corner - is fifteen years younger than Willoughby, who has lost more than twice as often as he's won.

    Round 1

Willoughby shimmies side to side, moving his head in dizzying motions that don't really seem to be all that controlled and trying to just throw Kavanaugh off. A few poking shots down low from Willoughby as he arcs widely around Kavanaugh, still rolling his shoulders around. Kavanaugh looks to pick him off with a jab and catches a rush inside for a clinch by pushing away and tapping with uppercuts. Willoughby is rocked a bit as Kavanaugh opens up with a long sequence of ambidextrous ferocity. Kavanaugh stalks in and takes his time, digging to the body. Now a bludgeoning overhand right that pushes down Willoughby's guard. Big left hook to the chin from Kavanaugh. Three punch combo.

    10-9 Kavanaugh

    Round 2

Willoughby tries to be first, pushing Kavanaugh into the ropes with fishing-line uppercuts. Kavanaugh quickly turns the tide and begins to rapidly turn Willoughby's head with quick, crisp power punches to the face. Willoughby stays in front of him as they travel across the ring, with Willoughby taking bombs. Kavanaugh is putting everything he can into these shots and landing them flush. The lack of effect seems more about deficiency in his power than Willoughby being really sturdy. Kavanaugh ducks a few very wide jabs from Willoughby and pops him back with his own. Lean in. Body work from Kavanaugh. They trade, each slapping away at the other man's arms as both are exhausted.

    20-18 Kavanaugh

    Round 3

Kavanaugh is now jabbing up out of a crouch as he presses Willoughby back. Wild 1-2 diving in by Willoughby and he gets countered and backed up again. Kavanaugh is planting left hooks on the side of Willoughby's head at will but not making him blink. Willoughby can't touch him with his wild shots. Kavanaugh finally seems to have him hurt as Willoughby tires from flinging out all his arm punches. Willoughby is stumbling. Kavanaugh keeps hitting him flush. Willoughby is just leaning in enough to make a semblance of self-defense. Willoughby staggers across the ring and has Kavanaugh pounce on him in the corner. Another dozen punches are needed for the ref to step in.

    TKO3
