    Round 1

Martinez starts out cautious, dialing his body around to either side and looking to line up shots from the outside. Sanchez surprises him with a big left hand coming forward and Martinez holds. Sanchez bombs at him as Martinez is pushed into a corner. Martinez defends and chops with some jabs. Right hand to the body misses from Martinez, who is trying to establish an outside game. Sanchez is just watching from a few feet away, tiptoeing laterally. BIG RIGHT HAND FROM MARTINEZ, just before the bell.

    Hard round to score there.

Most judges would probably favor the onslaught of Sanchez early. Martinez defended well in the middle going and landed EASILY the best shot of the round, though.

    Round 2

Martinez has his jab working, keeping Sanchez out for the most part. Not much happening. Sanchez doubles a jab and throws a right to the body, all blocked. Bad styles clash; Sanchez just flashing his hands as he catapults himself inside and gets grabbed, spun, and stepped around. Martinez is showing some nice smooth defensive boxing (and intelligent clinching where needed) but just isn't letting his hands go. Uppercut by Sanchez as he muscles his way in just before the bell.

    Easily a Sanchez round.

    Round 3

Degenerating now. Heads clashing. Stepping on toes. Martinez starts to come forward a bit to meet Sanchez and whips a long left hook to the body. Sanchez gets his right jab caught and tries to dig left uppercuts to the chest. Martinez is content to just jab and grab (and more of the latter than the former) on the inside and just watch and defend at range. Another hook to the body, doubled up to the chin by Martinez. Long lunging/dipping jab to the body by Martinez, lands. Sanchez tries to jab his way in but gets parried aside with a slap from Martinez. Nice long jabs from Martinez now. Sanchez misses a wild right hook.

    10-9 Martinez

    Round 4

Sanchez jogs after Martinez, excitedly pogo-sticking towards him and backing him to the ropes without any punches. Now Sanchez starts to throw as he's nearly got him trapped. A bit of trading and Martinez starts to bleed. Sanchez has difficulty finding him as Martinez gets on his bike. Sanchez runs at him and throws hard southpaw hooks and lefts to the body. Martinez slips them all but is getting absolutely corralled. Sanchez doubles his right jab to the body, not reaching as Martinez slides quickly away. Martinez is 100% on defense, hasn't landed anything in over two minutes (barely thrown). They both land jabs and Martinez's hair shakes.

    10-9 Sanchez

In a bizarre aside before the main event, GBP talent Vicente Escobedo presents the "Dewalt Guaranteed Tough Contractor of the Month" to the folks of Mora Construction.

:lol: That was the most tactful way I've ever heard a shitty record announced. Joe Martinez is all class. :good

Ramon Flores is 3-12-2, but was introduced as "entering the boxing ring for an eighteenth time as a professional, and hailing from Guadalajara..."

    Round 1

Ramon Valadez stands firm and throws hard jabs while Ramon Flores his hurls right hands at him. Flores' shots are all baseball pitch style and Valadez is happy to play catcher. Flores' back and shoulders are massive, and his punch execution is that of someone just relying purely on strength and power. Valadez is defending well against most, with Flores just expending energy with big stuff. Big flurry of uppercuts to the belly by Valadez near the end of the round.

    10-9 Valadez

    Round 2

Valadez is the much sharper puncher and is waiting for his spots as the much taller and more heavily muscled Flores threshes in. Valadez is chopping him up, starting to land more and more accurately. Valadez begins to push Flores to the ropes and gets excited but takes TWO BIG OVERHAND RIGHTS from a desperate Flores. They clinch. Exciting stuff there; it wasn't clear if either of them could be on the verge of hitting the deck. Wild flurry by Flores, all blocked.

    20-18 Valadez

Flores tagged Valadez hard at the end of that round when they tangled.

We'll see if his head stays clear

    Round 3

Flores misses a huge wild hook, ducked. Flores starts to just flap his big thick arms indiscriminately at Valadez. Good blocking and countering to the body by Valadez. Now circling out wide is Valadez. Flores blocks a jab and steps back from a right to the body. It becomes a tactical dance as they circle each other from across the DeWalt logo. Valadez is starting to peck at him with high jabs as he steps around. Flores is missing absolutely everything. Flores is put down hard with a counter right as he comes flailing in. His nose is shattered. Flores beats the count and starts slugging away underhanded but Valadez is banging him up top with dynamite. Flores backs off and flips out a backhand jab. Valadez comes after him and hurts him with an uppercut. Flores shoeshines to the body, desperate to get some space. As the round is winding down, Valadez lands a MONSTROUS left hook that leaves Flores rolling on the ground and unable to rise.

    KO!!
