Santos is rushing in with pot shot jabs, and PAYS THE PRICE for not keeping his eyes on the prize. Wilson slaps him with a broomstick right and Santos is dropped, glove touching the canvas. He is up before the count has even gotten underway, but it counts. Wilson is uplifted by it, attacking with gusto. Hard jabs marching in, and windmilled rights by Wilson, perhaps getting overconfident. Santos jabs and covers up, staying careful. Right hand by Santos, missing as Wilson circles to keep his back off the ropes. Santos is advancing, thrusting high jabs over Wilson's head. Santos bobs from the ball of one foot to the other, flicking out jabs. Wilson may have spent his load, spending the last minute in retreat using head movement as Santos comes at him spraying jabs.

Santos puts in jabs to the face and waves his forearms in to catch Wilson's light counters. Wilson dances away, breathing ragged. Santos is following with long overhand rights, getting hung up on Wilson's left shoulder. Clinches. Wilson backs up and ducks a Santos lead right. Santos follows another ducked right hand with a left uppercut on bent knees to catch Wilson off position.

So of the 2nd-10th, I have it 5-4 Santos plus the extra KD point for Wilson.

So 84-84.

pipe had mentioned the 1st was almost too close to call, so we'll call it a 10-10 for the sake of argument.

Damn am I happy with that decision, Wilson worked his ass off for that win.

It seems when Santos isn't knocking bums out (came in with a 90% KO rate) he is a bit lost in there.
