I dont think Canelo is scared of GGG. I think Oscar is scared of GGG. Oscar just doesnt want his golden goose (or some prefer yellow chicken) in with anybody who on paper has a good chance to beat him. Which is all the good Middleweights of which Golovkin sits top of the pile.

Golovkin is actually feeling sorry for Canelo at this point you can't bully someone into a fight with you so he just left him he saw how scared he was then just left him alne.

Golovkin "Give me my belt *****"

Canelo "Ok here it is" (opens the door slightly to make sure he can close the door quickly and throws the belt outside for Golovkin and shuts the door)

Golovkin picks up his belt shakes his head and just leaves him to have peace and that's the end of it.

I said high risk low reward

Directly compared yes he falls into that catagory

Detractors can always say "yeh but GGG never had a great fighter on his resume" and mark my words they will say it if canelo wins. GGG does not have to love the offer but he is a bit to old to be playing hard ball. Canelo holds all the cards and i personally feel 15m is a great offer (which is up from 10m if im not mistaken)

Its kinda **** because GGG holds the belts and we all recognise him as the best at 160. But canelo LIKE IT OR NOT has the star power and the ticket to super stardom (its why GGG wants him its the same reason GGG was sayin hed drop to 154 for mayweather). He can have his cake and eat it to. He just has to win

What promoter in their right ****ing mind would want their star fighter to jump in with triple ****ing G. this is the same oscar that did not want to let canelo fight LARA...

Bob arum would do the same thing
    So would al haymon

These guys dont care for the fans they care for money...

He's extremely high reward, high risk too yes but he would by far be the best win on Canelo's resume and truly make him a superstar.
Right now he's just a cash cow in Southwest US. I think you need to give GGG a little credit, a win over him would do wonders for Canelo's career.

Ok are we really going to quote bob arum mr boxing master? I can hit you with some cringeworthy bull**** quotes from that guy.

i still dont think any promoter would let any of their talented fighters near GGG

If he wins sure it will be his best win. But for a young guy with PLENTY of options he allready has a great resume.

I LOVE watching GGG. Hel iv woken up relatively early on sunday mornings to order the fights. He is in my top 5 fighters i enjoy watching. My issue with him is this. He does not seem to want to pay the cost to become the big time star.

Floyd is the biggest star of this generation and he got their by chasing oscar an mosley to 147 and eventually getting a fight at 154. He gave up ring size glove size purse split and all the rest just to get a fight with oscar and he took it on the chin because he knew if he won he would be the king and would have earnt the right to make those same demands for any following fight.

GGG is getting old. 15m is a good offer (may made like 70m or something off yhe DLH fight but that did 2.3m buys right?)

Just to clarify i favor GGG against canelo but refuse to say he aient holding up that fight with his greed

I'm not worried about the offer, GGG has Jacobs to deal with and another fight in the summer.
Why would he sign anything now with at least 2 more fights to go?

I agree with much of what you are saying, I just don't think it will hold up the fight. The offer has always been for September and if neither GGG or Canelo are upset nor Mayweather/McGregor landing in September, I believe the fight will be signed. Besides Gomez stated that money wasn't a major factor any more, i.e. they are close to agreement.

I've always said that this would be the case, both Canelo and GGG need each other to varying degrees.

Gennady Golovkin is universally recognized as THE Middleweight Champion of the World
Canelo has no 160 pound title Forget the Ring/GBP /Oscar's lineal belt Its worthless
    $$$$$$$$$ should be 60/40 in GGG;s favor at least[/QUOTE]
