You apparently don't understand the axiom "styles make fights." Paul Williams presents a much more difficult challenge to Floyd than Pacquiao does, and I've been posting that for three years here. Mosley isn't fighting at MW and isn't talking about what an ATG MW he is, so you have no point. How many classes they've moved makes no difference. Pacquiao has Cotto, at least, but even he is not a huge WW by any means.
Goldenboy is probably realizing now that playing erand boy for PBF is backfiring. i don't fault them because PBF is their fighter, but they lost sight of pissing off Pac and decide to just fight someone else. even if PBF doesn't care, and Pac goes another way...that's millions off Goldenboy's pockets. PBF will end up fighting someone in 140, 135, or a WW bum which will not make money as a Pac fight. remember Pac is in the Philippines and, at this point, is not desperate for money (even if it is $25-40 million). he is living well. i am suspecting that he is getting tired of negotiations with PBF and is about to walk away completely.
Pac is technically GBP's fighter too so I was surprised with the hard line stance against Pac that they took during the negotiations.
That's interesting. However... http://www.cyclingnews.com/editions/latest-cycling-news-july-21-2008 Following the failed doping test by Riccardo Riccò at the Tour de France, who was reported to have been using a new form of EPO called Micera, WADA spokesman Frédéric Donzé told Cyclingnews that his agency was aware of new EPOs coming onto the market. "WADA is very much aware of the development of new EPOs and bio-similar EPOs in an expanding market," Donzé said. "A number of these new EPOs and bio similar EPOs are well known and can be detected through current tests." Moreover, WADA's scientific director Dr Oliver Rabin said he was "reasonably confident" that any athlete using EPO at the upcoming Olympic Games in Beijing would fall foul of anti-doping controls. "It would be very presumptuous on my part to say that we are absolutely 100 percent sure we are going to get everyone," Rabin told the BBC. This content is protected --Basically, WADA's been studying the results of the Micera results for a year now and they know that it is detectable but needed to solidify their findings. It really surprised the cycling world when the AFLD started catching people of Micera. In case ya didn't know, Micera was just developed in 2008, its a very new 3rd/4th generation EPO enabler. The results of the urine test showed the EPO bands but in a different place on the result sheet. They knew it was EPO at the time, but couldn't prove it. And now they can, even with urine.
Didn't Team Pac EXPLICITLY state that ONLY the NSAC could do the testing. When Team Mayweather asked for USADA Team Pac balked.
That's interesting too. Contradictory information all around. Blood test can only help, then. Most people say urine doesn't show everything. I think that's the consensus thought.
Urine testing has always been used for EPO, and this method has been refined to be more accurate. so whats the deal when manny is ok with having his urine tested all the time during training prior to the fight?
They probably didn't think that Pac would stand his ground. And them being unfamiliar with Asian culture.
Nothing new. Pacquiao's been tough in negotiations for awhile. He's not someone you can dominate on the negotiating table.
Yeah yall some stand up dudes... shut the **** up. You are not known for standing your ground on anything.
I would've thought that you'd agree with the fat lady herself. You know the scientific director of WADA? You sure you don't have Floyd's number in your cell for bootycalls?
