But is there a date? Who is Ward fighting next? I've never seen a fighter get credit for a guy he might fight in the future. Be like saying Golovkin can keep fighting bums as long as he fights Canelo in 2020.

 

You've seen articles and videos talking about the fight. Hell even on hbo. Hbo signed ward to a deal with him fighting kovalev for one of the fights it has already been published. Theres no date yet maybe late this year or early next year
