I defiantly think Dawson would beat him, if he managed to beat Dawson (really doubt it) he'd get full credit from me, and everyone else I believe.

i thought enzo calzaghe had put a stop to rumours? had joe said anything himself? I'd like to see joe back in the ring purely because I loved watching him box but I don't think he will recieve any more credit than he left with. It maybe a possibility he's coming back as he's back in fighting shape? possibly already been training?

    No chance.

And who wants to see that fight again? The first one was bad enough with Hopkins spoiling and cheating the whole way through it.

Reguardless of what people think about Joe B Hop 2 , they have unfinished business , in a nut shell thats the top and bottom of it .

I think Khan Prescott as a cheif supporting bout is a fantastic idea , get Khan back in there with Prescott , get that one out the way while the other monsters (barring Alexander) are tied up , and look to land another biggie in the States in Nov / Dec time !!!!!! possible unification .

I for one would be going to Wales for that .....................

You must be ****in jokin !!!!!!!!!!! Chad Dawson is slow and methodical , works off a solid stiff jab , he is absolutley tailor made for someone as busy as Calzaghe , he does not have 1 punch knock out power which removes that threat , i see this fight a bit like Martinez Pavlik but not as one sided , Calzaghe UD 8 - 4 :deal

I don't see it as unfinished business. I thought it was a clear win for Calzaghe but there you go.

    Crap Crap fight.

Unfinished business from a Calzaghe perspective im getting at , he brought Calzaghe down to his level and in the end Joe etched out a close but deserved decision imo , the fact is yes it was a crap fight but it was close enough to warrant a 2nd NO ?????

He can be quick in flashes , jab , rear hand , take a little breather , reset , jab rear hand , on repeat ..................... but overall like i said he's slow and methodical .

He has somewhat of a European upright style , he's very orthadox , can be predictable , and against someone like Calzaghe who makes adjustments to predictable fighters fairly quickly , imo he'd be jumped on and would revert to a punchers chance .

The only reason anyone saw it as close was coz of Hopkins conning Joe 'firm but bent (alegedly)' Cortez.

With a ref that wouldn't take that crap in Cardiff Hopkins gets finished. He can't do 12 rounds without the breathers anymore and that is a fact!!!:deal

Ya he can't handle a 12 rounder at his age, not at the pace that Calzaghe would have the fight at, and certainly not if he wants to win any rounds.

He wasn't able for it before, and it'll be worse now.

    Hope this fight doesn't happen

That and the fact Hopkins will batter him this time; people say 'Calzaghes pace will be too much'

Hopkins slowed Calzaghes workrate down, and Joe doesn't have the power to hurt B-Hop.

Look mate i think you have got me wrong here !!!!!!

I agree with you , Calzaghe won the fight , but you sound a bit like dilusional Ricky Hatton fans when they say Cortez was the reason he lost to Mayweather , Calzaghe and Hopkins was close because Hopkins applied his spoiling tactics and smothered Calzaghe and it took Joe 5 rounds to work him out , by which time Hopkins had already put at least 3 of them in the bank with a KD , and lets not be completley dismissive here Hopkins has bags of ability also !!!!!

Regardless of what anyone says Calzaghe Hopkins 2 has a sales angle , in that they have unfinished business with each other , if Hopkins hadnt looked so terrible against Jones this would be huge ....................
