Ishida knocked Kirkland out in 1 round. GGG annihilated Ishida who beat Kirkland who beat Angulo.

Levels is right...a few levels down.

No surprise, Golden Boy clearly wants GGG for next Cince de Mayo. The controversy now is fueling the hype and folks are demanding that they fight next. in GBP's mind this is perfect to gather in casuals.

I'm calm brother, if I wasn't I would of replied with names as well.

Angul and Kirkland are levels above most of GGGs opponents? that's very debatable.

But not the point, Fight needs to happen now as Canelo has already said he would fight GGG Right away... ever since he did his post fight ring interview.

everybody is clamoring for that fight.

Imo, I think Canelo should give up his WBC belt and lose respect from the boxing world if he really doesn't want to face Golovkin. That's the price he should pay. He can't just get away with having that WBC belt and not fight his mandatory, like wtf.

Ok suppose if GGG never existed and someone like Lemieux or Stevens or someone like that was his mandatory, would he have fought those mandos instead? I doubt it.

Goes to show what kinda of punk that Canelo is. He won't even fight a legit middleweight, let alone a dangerous one or let alone Golovkin of all people. Nah he rather call himself a middleweight champ and claim he's the face of boxing when he's fighting chinny guys like Khan and Kirland.

Canelo, if you want to continue fighting blownup welterweights, do us a favor and go to the welterweight division, since you like fighting smaller guys.

And then Canelo loses some random fight and the "big fight" is damaged. Sometimes non-sense like this can backfire badly.

It's just Oscar De La Hoya who wants that and no one else. He's scared shtless. They should indeed take 2-3 fights before GGG. But first they should return the belt to its rightful owner. Afterwards they can do whatever they please.

Genuine boxing fans can thank Floyd and Oscar for this.

Since when has ducking been acceptable to the point of applauding it?

So, Canelo is going to hide until the fight 'Marinades"? In other words, wait until the other fighter has been in some wars, try and collect a bunch of fans in the process by fighting bums, and then, only then, fight the person who had the chance to derail their career?
This sport is becoming a ****ing joke. And you can thank your selves for considering this acceptable. The sooner crooks like FMJ and ODLH get away from this sport, the better.

GGG will never be on a PPV again unless its against Canelo or if he manages to beat Canelo, outside of that he has no PPV opportunities, not even if he decided to grab his ball$ and move up for Ward.
