According to ESPN,Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer would like Wilder-Thompson on CBS free TV for all to see.

Would be a great step up for Wilder but Tony is no pushover as well all know. His only losses in the last few years are to the champ.

Can Tony beat another prospect or will Tony be "Deontayed?"

Them legs won't hold up that top heavy body.

Tony can sparkle him if he comes motivated.

why is there no video of Wilder getting dropped by Harold Sconiers? are Wilder's handlers behind this because they know the awful truth about their him?

Would be a good matchup. Big stepup for Wilder, solid win if he pulls through.

I seriously doubt Wilder has the balls to do it he wants to fight someone who just ko'd the guy everyone thought of to be the one to beat Wlad and he is a top10 HW and Wilders best opponent is Kelvin Price no way he fights Thompson but he would be a top 10-5 HW if he beat him

this would be a too huge step up!!! thats why you first fight journeyman befor so it wont be that huge! you dont come from fighting fat bums to fight a contender! this would be a too big step up.
    dont think that fight happens.

After what happened to Price I'd be highly skeptical of this fight taking place. Wilder's team sounds like they're just fronting to keep themselves in the game. Either that or they're grossly mishandling Jonty's career by making him take this big a step up.

Thompson's a dangerous fighter in that he looks old and slow and beatable, but has a whole bucketload of little tricks earned from his years in the ring that'll defuse any raw talent like Jonty. And after the Price fight his confidence will be sky high.

Don't do it Jonty! Take on Zack Page instead!
