If Thompson lands a decent shot, Wilder's glass jaw is getting shattered. Count on it.

What are you talking about? Price didn't "get caught inside taking a breather" TT walked him onto a well placed counter punch.

Why does TT need to get Wilder on the ropes? TT didn't beat Price by backing him to the ropes did he?

Wilder is robotic and relies on a big right hand, TT took away Price's right hand, and in the first fight with Wladimir, he took away his right hand too.

TT walks Wilder into a counter punch and stops him IMO.

Golden Boy is actively working on this and Wilder's team is on board.

The hold-up right now is that TT has a rematch clause with Price. Price's people, of course, don't want the rematch but it's contracted and TT cannot fight anyone else until that clause lapses (I don't know the expiration date) unless Price's promoter releases him. And Price's promoter wants $$$ from GBP to do so, or they will hold TT in limbo until the expiration date. That will be a steep price.

People are over-reacting to the the Price fight.

If Price-Thompson fought against next month, Price would still be odds on favourite to win,and rightly so.

I reckon Deontay takes it,if it happens.

    Interesting either way.

Wilder stops Thompson. You can take this to the bank.

What are YOU talking about? I suggest you watch that fight again. Price moved forward and threw his right. Then, he paused as if to admire his work. THEN Thompson threw his hook, which unfortunately landed on the back of Price's ear at broke his eardrum.

It was NOT a counter, way too much time had elapsed. Price literally posed for Thompson, and let himself get hit. It's the only mistake he made in the fight, but it was huge. (obviously)
    ----------------------

Yeah, except for the left that he KO'd Owen Beck with, and the viscious left-right combos that he used to KO Manswell, Allen, and Abron.

Or his recently-refined jab, which he used to set up the KO on Price, and which he landed on Abron for the entire fight, and which rearranged the face of Greer.

You are correct, sir. Except for those weapons, all Wilder has is that massive OH right.
    -----------------------------

Wow. OK I'll explain it to you with different words:

Price is (again) an inside fighter. That's where he wanted to be in that fight. Thompson didn't control the fight, Price had just thrown his own inside punch, then stupidly took his foot off the gas. Wilder (again) is an OUTSIDE fighter. Thompson would not be able to land those looping inside shots unless he is able to (wait for it....) back Wilder into the ropes.

WHich is possible, since we've never seen Wilder pressured in that way, but unlikely because (wait for it....) Thompson is too slow for the fleet-footed Wilder.

    Clear now?

He could be the Danny Williams of 2013.

    Absolutely.

Price was completely controlling that fight. He made one stupid mistake, and unfortunately Thompson's punch broke Price's eardrum. Price went down from the loss of equilibrium, NOT form a concussion.

(and that's that's not an opinion, it's a medical fact.)

Thompson is tough, powerful, and crafty. - but he's WAY too slow for someone like Wilder. - Or Price, for that matter.
