I wouldn't want to fight him either if I was Thompson.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Wilder faces tomato cans because his management WANTS him to - they KNOW he has a GLASS JAW and will get starched against the first live body he faces.

The idea that any fighter would avoid this glass-jawed JOKE is as absurd and fraudulent as Wilder's bogus boxing "career." :nod

Price threw an uppercut, TT avoided it and counted with a right hand.

Yes Wilder used his left to stop Beck, but hasn't Beck been stopped TEN times? You don't have to have world class power in BOTH hands to stop the likes of Manswell, Beck and Allen.

Wilder showed a good right hand Vs Kelvin Price, but I didn't see his left in that fight.

Price is not an inside fighter, his best weapon is his jab and right hand FROM DISTANCE, if you think David Price is an inside fighter you have a lack of boxing knowledge.

Your saying TT won't have success against Wilder because Wilder is an outside fighter and TT won't have the speed to back him against the ropes?

Wladimir is an outside fighter and TT had his moments in there first fight, he even won the first round in the rematch.

And again Price is an outside fighter and TT had success in the middle of the ring.

I can tell your a Wilder fan boy so the only thing that will change your mind is if Wilder and TT fight and TT beats him.

TT is a very good defensive fighter who knows how to take away a jab and straight right hand.

    That's a good point.

I strongly disagree with everything else you are saying. A counter, BY DEFINITION, happens while your opponent's arm is still moving forward, and you catch him out of position. That is NOT what Thompson did. He circled to his right, then threw the left after Price froze in his tracks. If you can't see this, go see you optometrist immediately.

And FWIW, Price IS an inside fighter. Not in the vein of Frazier, as he also fights well from the outside. (or more typically from mid-range.) - but he has a great inside game, which is rare with a big, long-armed fighter. He loves to move in and throw body shots & uppercuts, especially when finishing an opponent. Watch his bouts with Dallas, McDermott, & Memishi.
And, of course, he demolished Skelton by driving him into the ropes and unleashing a flurry of body shots.

Wilder, on the other hand, never goes inside on purpose. He would never even think of moving in and throwing an uppercut, which is what Price did to Thompson. Price, unlike Wilder, throws great hooks, uppercuts, and bodyshots. This is exactly why I think he would beat Wilder if they fought right now.

Tyson Fury is a big guy with a great inside game (see Chisora fight), I can't say Price is. Price KO'd Sexton and Skelton from mid-range and McDermott and Audley from distance.

I call bs. Wilder has yet to crack the top 30. An old Thompson shatters his glass jaw, thin frame, and shaky legs

    :huh

Price KO'd Skelton against the ropes. (I just added this to my earlier post.)

"Fighting inside" doesn't mean clinching, grunting, and throwing short, useless uppercuts & hooks.

Anyway, JEEESUSFUKINGCHIST, My point was to differentiate between Price, who can and does go inside with deadly intent, and Wilder, who almost never does. - And why the latter would not get caught by a Thompson hook. (Again, NOT a counterpunch.)

    And I am correct.

    So there.

Price hurt Skelton at mid-range then came inside to finish the job, not the same as getting inside first, hurting him and then finishing the job. Skelton was beating Price on the inside actually.

Nope you are not correct until your theory happens in the ring.
