I fight the 23rd (of this month) for my first fight in the New York Daily News' Golden Gloves. I've been in the gym for probably 2 weeks? lol (back to the gym that is, after about a year and a half off). I also feel like my stamina has increased substantially. . First day I could barely spar 3 rounds, last time I sparred I did 9 (after running 2 miles on the treadmill). Just wanted to share =P no real intention behind this post. is it 3x2 novice or open class 3x3 ?? i think the novice champs in the uk are fairly new and a good idea too.
It's still 3x2 novice, as far as I know Doucheland hasn't made the switch to 3x3 yet for most classes (N, C, and B). It's 3x3 in the A class.
Thanks guys! It's just a matter of being physically in shape because I'm ready mentally.. I'll be in the gym four days this week, along with 2 days of hard sparring, and I'll just rest Friday. I'll keep ya updated.. Good luck in your fight RDJ, let me know how it goes!
