Goldenboy/ Mayweather/ Montoya drug testing stuff: Updated - Big News?

Hope Winky jabs Quillin's head off now.

 

Can't really argue with Montoya's motivations. These are big questions - why aren't the sport's power brokers asking them? Is it in HBO, Showtime or Sky's interests to ignore what could be a very real issue?

 

As always, it's short term for the bigwigs.

 

Unfortunately I think so. In an era of 50/60/70 million dollar promotions, which of these businessmen care enough to make a change that could cost them even 1 more big show.

If Tim Bradley walked into Bob Arum's office on Monday and said he'd been cycling a cocktail of drugs, I don't think Bob would want to cancel the fight. I honestly think his motivation would be to protect his promotion, and his capital above the integrity of the fight.

Floyd Mayweather got a prison sentence delayed just so Nevada could make some money out of him. I don't think it's that big a stretch to imagine even a commission turning a blind eye.

In one sentence, GBP getting very touchy about a journo sniffing around their drug testing paperwork, naming Mr Mayweather in their cease and desist letter as somebody whose name has been brought into dispute by certain things said journalist has apparently revealed that it turns out he hasn't revealed yet and Winky Wright and Kid Chocolate have had their **** and blood destroyed because there is no time left to test it before there fight, which leads to more raised eyebrows, although nothing has been proven by any party yet.

He had lunch with referee Joe Cooper, who legally takes testosterone and Horny Goat Weed to aid his relationship with a man in a hat who runs a host of HRT clinics that Floyd definitely doesn't know about or understand. You're just getting confused between the two.

The man is going to prison for hitting a woman! Why do these people think it's so far fetched that he might do a little bit of cheating to maintain his position as the biggest earner in the sport?

I admire him as one of the few decent technicians of this current era, but as a human being he strikes me as an award winning cockend. I mean FFS, he hangs about with 50cent and ****** Bieber, and calls himself "Money". I'd put nothing morally questionable past him. If somebody told me he liked to kick children to get him in the mood I would be inclined to believe it.
