There no way Mayweather (and by that I mean Al Haymon and the team behind him) are dumb enough to counter sue if there records will be released that show he is not clean.

I said when this was all brought up a few years ago the testing is a pile of **** and that most fighters are taking stuff and I got cascated for it. this is not a boxing problem its a sport problem.

I think its got to the point now where in all sports you should just let them do whatever they want. If its a case off 90% cheating and only 5% getting caught which I think it is.

But were dumb enough to make the allegations against Pacquiao in the first place? I love how quickly you jump to defend that piece of ****.

Haymon would have no say in it. He's Floyd's agent, not his life-coach.

It's castigated. And no you didn't - people asked you to back it up with more than your imagination and, as usual, you couldn't. Most fans have had suspicions for some time.

Or maybe just introducing a national agency that does regular, random testing during and between training camps.

This would be a big step in the right direction. U.S state athletic commissions should have a national licensing programme, like the BBBofC. Instead of just being licensed on a per fight basis, the commissions need to take a more unified stance, and anybody who holds a license is subject to random year round testing. Either you are a professional athlete or you aren't. The only problem would be people who "retire" quite frequently.

You can find ways to stop those who retire...

The speculation put forth by Montoya, and it most certainly is just wild speculation - is that in Mayweather's contract with USADA has provisions to allow for positive tests to be exempt if they're caused by 'inadvertent use'. Montoya has been insinuating that Mayweather has used this loophole for three positives tests that he's taken.

I think he's trying to get people to believe that Floyd's actual tests will show the use of some drug or another, but were still passed because of the 'inadvertent use exemption'.

Sounds absolutely ridiculous to me. But that is what he appears to be alluding to. They will soon have to show the tests contracts and health records so it shold't be hard to disprove.

Well hopefully some positives(no pun intended) will come out of all this increased scrutiny and boxing will catch up with the rest of the sports world on testing etc, but with no real governing body to lead the charge, I've got a feeling it will just be swept under carpet.

It's also Rob's speculation that Team Mayweather aren't utterly stupid when it comes to anything other than getting ready for the fight. There's a reason Floyd's going to prison!

I doubt that - he's been a well-managed business commodity since day one. A very good team around him, which continues to be the case with Schaefer at the helm of his company.

He stayed in the game after losing to Hopkins largely to create a financial buffer for GBP.
