I'd have Harry Greb as #1 and Marvin Hagler at #2.

Bernard Hopkins is ridiculously overrated. He fought mostly either SMALLER men like De La Hoya or clubfighters like Morrade Hakkar. And whenever B-Hop did step up and fight top opposition closer to his own size like Roy Jones, Joe Calzaghe and Jermain Taylor, he lost.

I think what the writer has tried to do really is rank each guy's time as middleweight champion rather than who is the best middleweight overall.

That being said, I still don't condone Sturm & Abraham being in the list regardless of the terms of reference but it does explain why he has B-Hop at #1.

You mean the post where you say padwork serves no practical purpose? You really want to go there? OK. Here ya go. :rofl

Why do you always ignore what I said? I didn't say "pad work is for show". I said "pad work like that is for show", when talking about these absurd 93 punch combinations with a blindfold on. They serve no purpose in a fight.

Anyone who read what I actually said will see my point. It's not rocket science, even though you fail to grasp it.

This was Gamboa in his first session with Mayweather when Gamboa was looking for a trainer. It was not for show. It was the two trying to get a feel to see how well they would fit together as trainer/fighter.

The padwork they did serves no purpose in a fight. No guard, no power, no technique, square stance and too many punches.

Padwork can be effective. That wasn't.

Even the fact the video was taken down won't save your axe on this one. The thread is still there. You always try and change what you said. Now it is "in a fight". :rofl

The fact they have Hopkins in the top 3, much less above Monzon, and Hagler. Who were both in different league than Hopkins. Show what a joke of list that is.
