Even though he was outboxed, technically Bowe won those fights with Golota, therefore he deserves the shot at Chagaev.

Golota would win on points imo. That Skelton fight was pretty bad. Golota was and is better now than Skelton is/was.

Golota can cause Chagaev serious troubles. I can see Chagaev maybe outpointing him by using the tactics he used v Valuev...but Golota would catch on.

    Golota UD Chagaev.

I would LOVE to see Valuev v Golota. !!

I'm rooting for Golota to pull this off. Something tells me he or Valuev would be much easier to have a unification match with than trying to get one with Chagaev.

I agree Chag is very unlikely to risk his title, but dont be too sure those other two would, either, seeing as how Golota and Valuev are both King fighters. And King would not allow a underdog titleholder of his risk a fight with Klitchsko.

He would. I can see it now. Before the other night against Ibrag, I was as fearful of Wlad as anyone. Now I see that he's there for the taking. You just have to be man enough to step up & willling to take a shot in order to deliever you own message & thats what Golota would do. But mind you, it must happen in round 2. Golota has to hit him on the button in round 2.

    He'll crumble...:deal

Golota vs Chagaev, is it really a better fight then Chagaev vs Krasniqi?

Is Golota more deserving bc he beat Mollo? what about all his fiascos?

Yes, Krasniqi lost twice, but it was to Brewster and Thompson, both better than Golota, and won against Minto, a similar fighter to Mollo.

Frankly, I think Golota and Krasniqi are very similar opponents to Chagaev, not much competition.

The same could be said about high WBA ranked Ruiz, Liakhovich, Moorer, Williamson and Bidenko, all of them wouldn't give Chagaev a much tougher fight than Krasniqi.

    Golota-Chagaev instead of Wlad-Chagaev?

Well said. Golota needs to beat a top 10 fighter before he deserves a shot at any belt.

Andrew Golota has no defense for that Chagaev volley punch thrown from his southpaw stance. Golota is still strong with a left lead and a right hand but then he finishes the combination with an awkward left hook without moving his body... He would be hit all night long by Ruslan's heavy and faster shots.

Golota would lose against Chagaev, Golota gets killed against guys with good left hooks, Tyson and Brewster had a field day with Golota, I would expect Chagaev to get the same result, Chagaev 1st or 2nd round knockout.

Chagaev is a south paw, thus, NO LEFT HOOK. Its a straight left lead. You know nothing. Go home...

Golota beat Byrd hands down and fought Ruiz to at least a draw. Fact is fact. Lewister and Brewster iced the *******... **** happens. Chagaev-Golota sounds better than a lot of other match-ups today.
