Golota dislocated his elbow

The injury sealed the deal.The KD in the 3rd second was something he could have come back from but that injury was the thing that stopped him.Plus he looked mentally unstable oncemore.

i didnt see the knockdown as a big deal. i mean, calzaghe was knocked down by bernard, what difference did that make...

This time he actually hit the canvas though.

I think Golota is done....sad because his fights are always must watch stuff.

 

I know, ACL and other ligament tears happen a lot in all sports, it's just that Golota is older, and his body looks like it's breaking down on him, and it'll be very hard to come back, it seems like his career's gone on in 3 Eras, pre-1st retirement where he was at his best but failed mentally, 2nd where he came close to beating Byrd and Ruiz and had the potential to be a HW champion, and 3rd where he's in now an has struggled but beats midlevel guys but can't seem to look like a HW champ anymore.

 

What are you saying, Golota would quit??? Nah, never.

But seriously, nice win for a very in shape Austin. Maybe he works himself back into the picture.

 

Damn, I saw that fight, and well, Golota is very much done. It's too bad he couldn't keep his head together: he had talent to be a force in the division but lacked the discipline to win a title. I was stunned at how quickly he was dropped, then proceeded to be a punching bag for Austin.

Oh well, I am guessing we've all seen the end of The Foul Pole.
