Who wins, and do you think this would be a good route for Haye to hypothetically pursue in making his heavyweight debut? :smoke
Don't care what path Haye takes & I don't think Golota should fight this young buck who has absolutely no style, but has power cause he swings for the fences. But I did hear mention that Haye's chin is questionable, so if Golota covered up for a few rounds until he got loosened up, he may be able the hang with him & pull out a UD. What prompted this thread? Is there a rumor that this match up will happen? Golota will never take that fight. He don't like fighting a czarny. Probably has a mental block about this, still... :!:
A fast starting, quick fisted power puncher is the last thing Golota needs. Golota's most recent fights show he's slowed terribly. He was never what I'd call exceptionally quick fisted and now he's flat out slow handed. That spells an early knockout.
Do you foresee any possibility where Golota survives the first and tests Haye's chin, as he did with Mollo?
I'm impressed with Haye. I think he's all wrong for Golota particularly at this stage of Golota's career. Five years ago Golota might have survived the first round. Today I don't think he's got enough left. He's visibly eroded in my opinion.
Speed will carry him through the pretenders. But it's an entirely different story with the contenders. He's got a lot of proving to do. Let him fight one of the legitimate big guys and we'll all be wiser afterwards.
Probably gets blitzed. Golota's never been out cold but he can be caught early, and extreme pressure doesn't help him get off the canvas. Brewster, Lewis... Take your pick.
You all said the same thing about Mollo. He will do the same to Golota what Brewster did yada yada yada. I think Golota takes this one and moves closer to the tittle.
The question in the poll should be : Will Andrew survive the first round ? I am big Golota fan but Haye is the last man he should think about.
Golota has a good chin. I've never seen him VERY hurt. He surely can take a shot. Beasides, like vs Mollo he would know damn well what to expect so if he covered up well and tried to keep Haye away with the jab I think there is a real chance that he survives the early rounds and outboxes David or possibly stops him late if the Brit really has some stamina or chin issues. I don't think it's the best choice for Andrew though... But it's also a risky business for Haye. Reward is big for both of them. 65% Haye to 35% Golota if you ask me.
Is there a non-white fighter who you do give a **** about? How many Haye fights have you watched? "Swings for the fences"...atsch:roll: Have you not seen how he throws a diguised uppercut? Have you not seen how perfectly he timed and picked his shots against Maccarinelli? Or seen how he goes to the body in almost every fight? You know I have no problem with you personally Jetski, but seriously mate you are one of the most bias and racially motivated posters on here.
