If you watch that fight closely it is even debateable that Vander won the 2nd fight. Bowe was winning before the Fanman delay and still won the contest in my opinion. Not to mention the fact that Bowe's wife was stretched out of the arena and he had to continue the bout.

Bowe was in top top shape for both fights, there was no lack of dedication there, and I dont understand why people are saying that. Golota finished him and basically ended his career. Bowe's actions after those fights are evidence of this.

Bowe was doing a good share of faking in those fights as well. Then again I can't blame him. I wouldnt want to continue getting my brain rocked around my skull any longer either.

All you Bowe fans should be thanking AG for getting DQ'ed otherwise Bowe would be probably sitting on a couch somewhere watching TV, drooling all over himself if the fight was to continue.

He was in bad physical shape from the fights with Vander and his fridge. Maybe you forgot that he won the fights with AG. Golota was cut up in those fights and mentally weak. He buckled because Bowe was able to take his shots and fire back. You sound like a deluded loser when you say that Bowe was in tip top shape. Your boy lost, face it!

Bowe received brain damage after both fights with Golota and had to retire early.

Golota received title shot vs Lewis just after Bowe wars.

You tell me who really won.

Guys don't act like Bowe didn't cheat in that fight cause he did. Bowe started using the cheating tactics and Golota took the idea and cheated the cheater.

Bowe was in great shape for the second fight. Lost weight and looked great. He even scored a KD on Andrew. Something he couldn't do in the first fight.

Bowes condition for both Golota fights werent great , he appeared too relaxed and happy to be there.. Golota was tough and well prepared for him, even though.. Bowe on his worse day beat Golota on his best day..

I think Evander may have edged Bowe on the second meeting but like Robert said, Bowe was getting comfortable in there and finding his measure when the silly ******* dropped outa the sky.. He had his head up his arse when he saw his wife strick by the fan , she was pregnant and very stricken.. Bowe had to watch this and then switch off and tangle with Evander for the rest of a hard fight........ Takes guts and a special kind of man...

Bowe appeared cosmetically great for the second Golota bout, but had lost weight very fast close to the fight.. He was drained and weak.. His face was gaunt and watch the first knockdown by Golota, Bowe dropped like a stone (delayed) because his weakened legs couldn't carry him during the fight..

    I agree Chuck.

The beating Bowe sustained in both of those fights changed him forever. He even slurred after that second beatdown. I never seen anything like it and don't plan to again. It was just devastating.

You sound like the delusional one. Why don't you watch those fights again, and tell me who was the one getting their head snapped back throughout those fights.

Technically, Golota did lose, he was disqualified, but Bowe got beat up bad, real bad.

Bowe was in pretty good physical shape for the Golota fights, I suppose you can say he came in a little heavy for the first one, but it still wasnt that bad, and he still got beat up. You can't say he took AG lightly for the second fight. He came in tip-top shape for the second fight, and got beat up even worse.

    They did.

But that's not what ruined Bowe.

:blood :huh Must have watched a different fight.

I'm surprised Bowe didn't walk out of the ring and go be with his passed out, striken, pregnant wife. I would imagine that would take priority over fighting Holyfield some more. Unless there is something I don't know.

I think that it was the weight loss that was partially responsible for his poor preformance in the rematch with Golota. In the first fight Bowe was rusty and out of shape, but in the the rematch he looked wat too thin and weak.

Just rewatched the fights....I still can't see it any other way than that Golota ruined Bowe. Even the best Riddick was there to be hit (which is why I believe his team didn't really match him up with punchers), but those were sickening fights to watch. Riddick's chin and heart were too good for his own good, especially with the way he was eating right hands.

His corner should've been shot for not throwing in the towel and saving their man from what amounted to a career-ending beating. The last half of the 2nd fight was just brutal.
