Golota broke Bowe, period. The story of those fights is a sad one in general. What a war and thrill those two fights were. In every aspect.
Bowe's greatest achievement was making Lewis flinch slightly during their hilarious, epic confrontation (0:44 of the vid); [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNp12msEWqU[/ame] Just look at the state of Bowe now compared to Lewis - what a chump.
Lennox even CALLED IT. He was like 'dont make me have to call him 'chicken bowe'. But ya Golota dominated Bowe. I don't buy that Bowe was shot bull****. Andrew Golota totally destroyed an elite Riddick Bowe. Golota was an super fighter and one of the most amazing talents the HW Division have ever seen. RIddick Bowe was totally out classed by Andrew. He showed heart though.
I truly think the 2nd Golota vs Bowe fight was as brutal as Ali vs Frazier 3. One hell of a brutal fight. Whatever else led to Bowe's early demise as a top notch fighter, that night ended it completely.
Christ, can't anyone give Golota credit for beating the **** out of Bowe twice? I do. He was all over Riddick in those fights, kicked his ass thoroughly, but glory boys like Holyfield are still getting the credit. Holyfield never pounded Bowe the way Golota did.
You are absolutely, positively correct! I couldn't believe my eyes. Bowe Golota 1 was only the 2nd time I saw Golota fight. The 1st was when he blew up Manny Stewards HW hopeful Darnell Nicholson. How I saw the 2nd fight through my artwork. This content is protected
:good Bowe just came off a Holyfield win and was still very young. If it wasn't for Golota Bowe's career would have never ended prematurely. Anyone who thinks otherwise watch both fights, then watch it again.
Andrew was a beast in those fights. Neither fighter was ever the same after the fact. #MassiveBoweFan
Great work Jets! :thumbsup It's still my favorite heavyweight fight of all time. It had drama, it had brutality, it had everything. At the end of the day, both fighters were forever ruined after that second encounter, and I believe Merchant was the one who called it and said neither guy would ever be the same again, and neither ever was.
There were a few things that saw Bowe spiral, Golota was indeed one of them. As much as he was very good against Bowe, he was also a dirty, cheating **** head in both fights. Might just pop both fights on today. They were brutal.
