Golota vs Adamek: Guess what weights they'll come in at...

    The Polish Fight of the Century is almost here...and as insane as this fight appears, its gonna happen!

    I'm thinking Adamek will wt in at about 210-212 lbs. Golota, well, he is gonna weigh his most ever for a fight & I'm guessing about 255-260 lbs.

    Let this site load for the videos. I stole it from the Golota Express thread. The 3rd vid shows Adamek training, who is in great shape. The 4th show Golota & he is very BIG. Slow at shadow boxing, but doesn't look too bad hitting the mitts. Throwing a ton of right hands. He gonna go for the kill in this fight.

    Lou, did you watch the video? I've never seen AG so big in the middle. He's gotta be at least 255!

    Both will come in decent shape, I'll be shocked if Adamek comes above 220.

    I'm expecting Golota to put on a decent performance before getting stopped/KO'd or loses a one-sided decision. Can't see Golota going in this one with real desire to win.

    Not true. I think AG is gonna be very, very serious about not wanting to lose to Adamek & will try his best to show him who's boss.

    Golota's upper body looks bigger, as if he has been lifiting weights. He has a paunch, but I expect him to be around 250 for the fight.

    I doubt at this point weight will matter much for Golota.

    He's either in shape or not.

    Adamek's not used to that kind of weight. Extra weight will wear him down I say.

    Adamek really doesn't look like a heavyweight at all. It kind of reminds me of the way Jirov moved up in weight, kind of artificially. He may walk around at 215 but his best fighting weight is probably 200. He probably has to eat allot and take in allot to keep his weight at 215. My guess is he will most likely weight in about 212 to 215.

    Golota on the other hand is a huge man. His back, shoulders and arms are massive. He looks a little overweight in the video but that could be from a few weeks ago so he could still lose about 10 lbs. My guess is he will be around 250 which at his age and stage of his career is about what can be expected of him.

    Yeah he's gotten pretty thick and fat around his belly though but I think he's got pride for his country and will really try hard to beat Adamek. I think Golota's right hand, when it connects, will put Adamek to the floor.
