I agree that Golota's nerves shouldn't be as much of a factor in this fight because of Adamek being a small guy. But Byrd gave him some trouble with movement & I don't think Adamek is gonna stand there waiting to be hit.

Fighting in Poland with his pride at stake could cause AG to vapor lock agan though.

I sue hope not. I wanna see a good war between these 2. Adamek asked for it, now lets see him take it.

Check or no check that wasn't too elegant on Adamek's part.

I'm not sure about black whores because I read it was arranged in Poland, no offense but when you see Polish whores there's no substitute.

I'm not sure Byrd is/was better than Adamek but we'll see what happens on Saturday.

Someone from the G-Express said it was a black ***** but who knows. There's plenty of black whores in Chicago, maybe that's what Adamek was refering to. Maybe Golota felt like having a lil' coco with his cream.

It's an interesting comparison. Both Byrd and Adamek are much smaller and faster than Golota. But Byrd was a lot more slick and defensive, that's for sure. Adamek has never fought that way and he can't simply change his style, he's gonna fight like he always fights. But then again Byrd fought Golota 5 years ago when he still had something left. Not sure what Golota has left anymore. We'll see.

I've never seen Adamek as a defensive boxer, he was eating punches left and right against Dawson and Cunningham. I don't expect that to change when he fights Golota.

If Adamek attempts to fight defensive, it'll be awkward for him. I think it'll be awkward enough fighting at this weight.

Golota can't match the speed but he was surprisingly fast against Mollo. When Golota comes forward and starts throwing combinations look out.

It's already been well documented why the Cunnigham rematch did not occur. If you can actually believe it, no major TV network wanted to pay prime time money for this fight because they claimed there was no interest, considering its CW and that Cunningham is not well known. For Adamek to risk his career fighting a talented and experienced boxer like Cunningham again, there has to be a reward commensurate with the undoubteble risk that this fight entails.

With Dawson, no plans for a rematch are even close to happening because no one knows whether Dawson would ever be willing to bulk up to CW for a rematch and Adamek will never come down to LHW again. So instead of rotting away at the CW division waiting for some major interest to magically appear, Adamek decided to move on up to HW for an instant payout by fighting for a lot of money and fighting an opponent thats relatively easy, compared to Cunningham, Dawson or Hopkins.

By fighting Golota Adamek can (1) Market himself as a HW fighter and see if he can make a career there (2) Buy time to see if Hopkins wants to fight him after RJ (3) Wait for an interesting opponent at CW or see if major networks change their mind on the Cunnngham remach. By taking this route, Adamek has actually created many options for himself instead of waiting for someone to show some major interest at CW. If he didnt take on Golota he'd likely been rotting away at CW, fighting on ESPN or worse. This was the best move he could make in the situation that he had, in my opinion.
