Golota vs Adamek: Guess what weights they'll come in at...

    Has there been any word from the Polish press as to what each man is making$$$???

    Or are they keeping it a secret?

    Adamek won't be chugging air by the 5th round. Also, Golota has a big time problem finishing upper tier opponents while he has them in trouble. This has cost him many victories as you know. Adamek has a big chin and a big heart and even if Golota catches him I think Adamek will just rally right back. Finally, I think a lot of people will be surprised at how much movement Adamek will show in this fight. Him and Gmitruk will make this adjustment because quickness, volume and conditioning will defenitly be an asset for Adamek at HW

    I'm in TO, Canada. I will see if i can find a poll like that on the Polish tv i receive here. My guess it would be something like 70% going for Adamek. This is largely because people will want Adamek's career to be propelled and they hope it will happen at the better known weight class. Actually, ever since his move to CW, Adamek has received really good press coverage in Poland, much more so than at LHW. With Golota, I suspect people in Poland have a love/hate relationship.

    Interesting match. Had Golota been a few years younger, Adamek will get starched on the get go. But this is the older Golota we are talking now and hence Adamek might have a chance. I want to see Golota spar to have an idea how shot he is now.

    That sound about excatly right. Adamek has really molded himself into one of the most complete boxing packages in the sport, & people take notice.

    Golota has come so close, & being ripped off in the Byrd fight was the worst I ever felt for him. I could have killed that black lady judge that night.

    I'm a Golota nut-hugger, so I'm pulling for Golota...... But at age 41 and prone to injury, this will be a tall mountain to climb against the younger but less experienced Adamek...... Golota needs to be between 245 to 250 pounds here in 2009 to be truly ready and fit..... At 250 +, Golota will show up just for the check / payday.........

    I have no clue what Adamek will weigh...... But if he was a natural 175 pounder, I'd guess he'll be somewhere around 210 pounds fo Golota...........

    I'm not really sure if Adamek is a speed demon with heavyweight power, but I know Golota is still strong but now slower than **** in 2009.........

    Golota was cheated in the Byrd fight. I had forgotten about that.

    I guess he should have fought off the canvas like Dirrell, then hold, run, then complain.
