Golota vs. Peter for WBC title pending approval?

i really hope not, thats a joke. anyone who saw golota's fight vs lamon brewster has to be appalled

 

i personally think mcbride beats golota **** atleast he beat tyson

 

I've always been a Golota fan but he has no right getting a fight like this. King gave him 3 title shots in a row and he lost all 3. Granted, he could have gotten the decision in 2 of those fights but he didn't.

If this fight takes place it will be a shame cuz guys like McCall and Virchis are way more deserving than Golota and the fans would get robbed cuz Golota will fall apart the moment Peter puts that heat on him.

 

I knew Duva would not allow his wild swinging slugger to fight a contender. Another easy mark for Peter to look good against. Golota has no legs left at all and his long inactivity will insure there are no surprises. Almost every fighter out there would like a shot at the WBC belt and this is all team Peter can come up with. This is what Peter did to get there so why change now. I say give Peter the belt so he has to defend it. Maybe then we will see him in a fight.

 

Are u ****ing kidding? Peter fought stylistic nightmare James Toney TWICE when he didn't even have to. Samuel Peter will fight anyone anytime.

I agree to some point. Look at Peter's record... he beat a blown-up middleweight and lost to Wlad. He's a tough guy but he should have his hands full with Golota. The fact that Golota got iced against Brewster... that whole fiasco was a jerk-off.

I don't care, I just want to see peter fight. but this isn't so bad, golota was training for a fight anyway, and both guys were training for similar style opponents, golota for a big slow plodding puncher, and peter for a boxer with decent skills, questionable chin and good power.

 

Golota does not deserve this fight, if would be a real shame if he got the fight over McCall, Tua, Virchis or even Juan Carlos Gomez.

If Peter wanted to have a shot at the WBC he had to fight Toney. The first one was a obvious win for Toney and Peter got the nod. The decision was so outrageous Peter had to do it again. This time against a even more shot x middleweight. Easy ride to a shot? Yes and very low risk considering Rahman beat a better version of the over rated Toney than Peter struggled with over 24 rds. Sam Peter is a bottom feeder his only fight worth mentioning is against Kltihcko. The only reason that fight happened is Team Peter was shooting of their collective mouths and Klitchko called their bluff. They will not make that mistake two times so we get Golota. Pathetic for a so called contender to be fighting a retired fighter that is ranked somewhere in the top 30.

I say give Duva's slugger the belt so he would have to defend it. No more bottom feeding against fighters with day jobs. We have all seen Peter dispatch weak chinned "D" grade fighters now lets see if he can actually win one against a real contender that is not moving up 3 or 4 weight classes to fight him. The WBC should not allow this fight.

 

You all keep in mind taht its no 2 weeks till the fight so you can be happy that they found a guy like Golota to step in. Im just happy that Peter found someone for Oktober 6 and that the date is not cancelled.
Peter could fight Ruiz but i think Ruiz diserve it even less then Golota, comming from 2 losses in a row and Golota was already in traing for McBride and was scheduled to fight Oktober 6 anyway so he will be in shape. I dont think Ruiz would be in good shape if he would have stepped in with that short notice.
