    Well, excluding bouts with Byrd and Ruiz (both of which many, if not most, observers feel he won)...

    In no particular order:

    * Tim Witherspoon
    * Corey "T-Rex" Sanders
    * Mike Mollo
    * Doc Nicholson

    Those are the four that jump to mind.

    Tim Witherspoon or Kevin McBride.

    But if he was not robbed it would have been Byrd or Ruiz.

    If he didn't break down mentally it would have been Bowe (twice), Michael Grant and Mike Tyson.

    He was competely destroyed by Tyson. At no point was he really even competitive in that that.

    His biggest 'win' is his signature loss. If he hadn't worked over Bowe's nutsack, he never would have become the high profile fighter he is today.

    come on i'm a golota fan (and a tyson one) but NO WAY was golota beating Tyson that night, even if golota wasn't injured. Tyson looked very sharp (obviously it was early) and was generally in decent form in 99-01 roughly.

    Golota was supposed to fight Ray Mercer after the second Bowe fight, but Mercer got injured, and the fight was canceled (and may have even been postponed prior to that).

    Golota would have beaten Mercer at that point in time, no doubt!

    I do wonder how Golota's career would have unfolded had he gotten a win over Mercer following the Bowe fight.

    Regardless of Golota's record, just about all of his fights were great, with the exception of the Lewis and Brewster meltdowns. The man comes to fight. I think he's finally got the heart now, but he's 40!

    Yep, in Bowe II Andrew looked at the ref to make sure he was looking, he did a triple combination to the balls. He wanted out. Truthfully, that fight should have been stopped. I've never seen any man take such punishment.

    If he hadn't worked over Bowe's nutsack, he would have been lineal champ for a while and would still be plenty high profile.
