What do you think are his chances against the reigning champions:

    1. IBF Wladimir Klitschko

I think its a bad fight for Golota, Klitschko is younger, stronger, punches fast and hard and is physically bigger than Golota.

    2. WBA Ruslan Chagaev

I think he would be the best choice of an opponent for Golota. He is like a better version of Mike Mollo, smaller than Golota, fast with good punch. Golota could hang with this guy and possibly win on points.

    3. WBO Sultan Ibragimov

I wouldnt give Golota big chances against Ibragimov, he is small but faster and busier than Chagaev. Golota would have to knock him out.

    4. WBC Oleg Maskaev/Samuel Peter

Maskaev would be the easiiest oponent by far but I dont think Maskaev will get past Peter, if he did then I think Golota has got a big chance to knock him out because Oleg has got a fragile chin. Peter is a big question mark, he seemed to have a granite chin until the Mccline fight, now he is a unknown but his power could spell trouble for Golota.

chagaev like a better version of mike mollo????

are you joking??? just cause golota went life and death with a clubfighter like mollo...........and now he has got a chance against someone like chagaev???

chagaevs power would make golota go mental again imo.

it's hard to say because the guy golota fight last night was horrible. but, i agree with much of your assesment. maskaev is the only guy i think he might have a good shot at beating. he would get knocked out by wlad and peter, and the other two would be pick em fights.

Couldnt do **** to Matt Skelton though. What I meant by better version of Mollo is that they are alike in terms of power, speed, height, weight and built, Chagaev is superior in terms of boxing skills and tactic.

Nowadays everybody is a clubfighter exept for Klitchko.

I could see him giving a good fight against Maskaev, but that's really it.

Very little chance against any of them (especially Klitschko), but if he were to beat one, it would be Oleg Maskaev.

Maskaev is really the only one I think Golota could beat, Oleg is just as old, slow as Golota and has a china chin, basically very beatable for anyone nowadays.

Chagaev just fought old and very limited Matt Skelton and only won a decision and did not dominate. He won a SD against an older Ruiz. Golota def has a chance against this guy.

If theres ever been two fighters who make it difficult to look good against its Ruiz and Skelton.Chagaev has a great chin and good power.I think he knocks out this version of Golota - a prime Golota would be a completely different story

I guess you could say that. Ag would be able to hang in there with Chagaev & deliever some right hands to the lefty.

But Maskaev would be very interesting, for sure. Problem is, I like Oleg & don't wanns see that fight! But if it comes to that, you know who I'll be rooting for.

Chagaev had a bad performance but he had a long layoff and Skelton is a guarantee for ugly fights so I give him the benefit of the doubt, he is usually better than that. And even the Chagaev of yesterday would beat this version of Golota handily.

As many posters already said, Golota would have a decent chance of beating Maskaev who is built similiar to Golota. He would have a chance against Chagaev, but Chageav should be able to outbox him and probably get a late round KO against him. He would stand almost no chance of beating guys like Peter or Wlad.
