Golota has next to NO CHANCE vs any belt holder. Mollo wasnt much of a step above someone grabbed randomly off a bar stool. The fact that AG was terribly slow and couldnt finish a bum like Mollo?
Ok geniuses. Can you name one fighter that ever outboxed Golota? Really, the closest were crafty fighters like Byrd and Ruiz who are pretty much experts at winning decissions and even they arguably lost those fights to AG. Arguably, Golota has yet to lose on a judge's card! The reason for this is that, except for the speed, Golota is still a fundamentally sound fighter that outboxes his opponents even in the latter rounds (his conditioning is above average to most heavyweights). I would give him great chances against both Maskev and Chagaev and a 50/50 chance against Ibragimov. Most importantly, we don't really have to guess what will happen because I guarantee you that one of those fights is inevitable this year and will perhaps be Golota's next fight.
Outboxed him? How bout made him **** his pants and knocked his ass the **** out? Lewis(had to shoot Golota with lydocaine just to get his ass in the ring), Tyson, and Brewster. Add in mental ***** up's against Grant and Bowe? Who needs to out box him? Golota got robbed vs Byrd (who sucked ass) and RUIZ?? Holy ****, the ultimate bar stool bum wrestled/punched off the break to another gift but again it shows that Golota fails to succeed in the face of pressure. AG is so ****ing slow at this point? He's going to FLAME OUT yet again.:good
I'd give him a better chance against Ibragimov than Chagaev. I've got a feeling that Chagaev is suddenly underestimated after last night's fight but then again I admit I haven't seen it. The Ibragimov that fought Holyfield seems to be within Golota's reach to me.
