Not sure if anyone will agree but this fight would have ended up like Tyson-Mcbride if Golota did not quit.
The hilarious thing is if Golota could have hung in there 5 rounds or so he would have been able to win the fight. That version of Tyson was already deteriorated and faded badly in fights. Hell Botha had him beat until he started acting like an idiot and clowning.
atsch If Golota did not quit, he would have been severely injured, perhaps permanently. There was no good way for the fight to end for him at that point.
Golota's trainer deserve to die, no respect, he's not the one putting his life on line fighting, what a ****ing jerk I want to kill him
People can say would have should have all they want. Fact is Mike was lighting andrew up. Andrew didnt like what he was feeling
This is what I was trying to say. Tyson's stamina at that point of his career is ****. He exerted a lot during the first 2 rounds. I think 1 round more and he will be one punch and cling every minute.
Andrew started to throw after the knock down, and looked as if he was game..then bell rings. Frustrating man..over here in the UK we were fed that this was Tyson's last ever fight, lol..so i wanted something more legit than a quit.
Tyson look so mad against Golota and Lou Savarese unlike in his other post prison fights. Not sure why, but when Golota quit Tyson seems to wanted more. Golota has 3 cuts on his face inside the first 2 rounds, it's wise decision I guess. If this was Tyson that fought Ruddock (12 round stamina + body punches), Golota would probably die in the ring. Golota in that fight was like Tyson against Holyfield, the other guy lost before the first round bell, so many hesitation when throwing punches, it almost looks like he's just slapping a pillow.
Quick question to those calling Golota a ***** and gutless. Should Gerald McClellan have kept on fighting too?
Bottom line is Golota is and was a nut job. He threw so many fights purely on crazyness it's not even worth the time giving anyone credit for beating him.
Yeah, taking that right hand bomb & he still got up at the count of 2! Wish he could have hung in there. He would have loosened up & in a few rounds when Tyson begins to gas, Golota KO's the Legend. But thats not what happened & I have those bad memories of that night until I die.
