GGG looks drained and nervous. This might be a very competitive match.

GGG doesn't look drained at all - and why would he, considering how easily he made it and how slowly he had to lose a small amount?

    If anything, he looks bored.

I figured 158-159... Now how much is he going to rehydrate to, is the big question. I think anything past 165 is a mistake for Brook. He needs to maintain speed and quickness if he's going to have a shot here.

GGG doesn't seem his usual self, Being in the uk, huge event facing a guy displaying a confidence hes never seen ever while in the back of his mind thinking what if i actually loose to a blown up welter weight,That's a lot of pressure. id argue more pressure than fighting canelo. GGG is supposed to win this with ease, it might be daunting on him that might not be the case.

if ggg is 158.8 then why would he be drained?
if he was drained he would at least be 159.5 to 160 on dot

It's amazing how some people are managing to convince themselves this is going to be a competitive fight.

Watched this earlier, and GGG definately seems out f sorts, not his usual smiling self, maybe it has dawned on him that this isnt going to be an easy task after all.

Brook takes this on a close decision.

Some people see the x factor in some fighters, Not all people see it.

I must need spectacles because I thought Golovkin looked OK, not great but just OK for a man having to cut weight, he hasn't crashed major weight, we know this because of the 30 day weight checks.

Most fighters look rough on the scales, unless you're a heavyweight and don't make weight and like Brook you're going up in weight. The vast majority of fighters cut weight and suffer.

Brook himself looked awful on the scales at 147 and Canelo will look rough next week if he makes any genuine attempt to make 154.

Every weigh in for big fights we get this, normally the old classic "he looks dry and soft" which makes me smile because I've never heard anybody say the opposite "he looks wet and hard", that really does sound a little off.

Golovkin not smiling would worry me more if I was Brook, I'd want him relaxed, over confident and going through the motions, if there are any problems in the Golovkin camp (and they may be) then it will sharpen and focus Golovkins mind and in my opinion that spells serious trouble for Brook.
