I think Canelo is doing a good enough job of destroying his own career. There is only one man to blame for this mess and that's Canelo

 

Alvarez is far from being destroyed - the only way the GGG camp can destroy him is if Golovkin gives him a savage beat down - and that probably won’t happen. And even if it does, so what? Alvarez has achieved more stardom and money than most boxers combined. Clenelo’s whole career has been more or less manicured to look better than what he is and it’s paid off wonderfully so far.

I don’t doubt that he is PED cheat but I’m hedging my bets on just how bad the fallout will be. On this boxing forum it’s bad but this is not representative of his fans and country in general. Success, money, national pride, a slick PR machine backing you, the fellating of the WBC and the fact that it’s a relatively unknown PED found in his system 2 months from the bout will go a long way in people forgetting or not caring.

I don't think anyone other than the accused is to blamed on a case like this.. Regardless of who it is.. In this specific scenario its obvious they are going to talk s**t because its a huge fight and the fighter in question is yet to face any penalties for what he tested positive for while others have received bans or hefty fines in the past or whatever some type of penalty. On the other hand GGG and Team should just pull out rather than talk so much and let the professionals do their work..(Which they arent doing anyhow) Then again No one is doing anything and there is a binding contract which I'm pretty sure wont be easy to get out of plus an astronomical amount of money involved.. the whole thing is a mess and its bound to bring a lot of attention and media BS will continue for a VERY long time.. Alvarez wont be able to remove this from his career for a very long time. but again. No one else is to blame other than the person who tested positive for a PED period.. Forgot to add somthing lol! Im sure alvarez has already made a HUGE amount of cash and his career is far from over.. But yea this wont be a piece of cake to erase or people to forget. Wether his guilty or not the tests are positive and its already out there..

Plus, I’ll add that to me his career has always been questionable; he epitomizes the modern day fighter that can achieve great stats without being great by manipulating multiple weight classes and multiple sanctioning bodies to allow him to fight for belts. He’s now a multi division champion without ever having been undisputed in any weight class. He fights for the WBC 160lb belt at 155,wins it then forfeits it when he doesn’t want to fight Golovkin at 160 but picks up the WBO 154lb belt by fighting some unheard of kid...bleh

 

How is he going to win the court case when he tested POSITIVE for excessive amounts of CLEN TWICE?

 

They havnt done anything, They are only saying what the unbiased masses are saying. Damage has been caused by Canelo himself no doubt under instructions from Oscar.
