    the difference with ward/stevenson/kova is ward has been inactive for how long now? because of promotional issues.....you didnt fully expect ward to jump back into things after a layoff like that and face the top 2 guys in a division he hasnt fought at in years do you? what was wards last fight before paul smith? what class was it? and its been how long since hes fought?

    ward will have no problem taking on a stevenson or kovalev.....just needs to get back into the groove......ggg has been steadily feasting on bums ...he should be ready to go and take on a real fight and challenge.....like i said...all these guys hype him to be some superhero savior of boxing...hes just like the rest

    why do you keep denying the obvious? Cotto has 2 fights in between 154 and 160, thus at MW, the fact his 2 fights were at a bogus catchweight makes little difference

    and I have no problem with GGG fighting Ward at 168, as long as he unifies MW first, which is what he should be doing, seeing as he's a career 160 lber, and Ward is now a LHW and may have trouble making 168 in the future

    if ward goes up...hes not coming back down....hence why the fight has to be made asap

    ive said it many times...if cotto beats canelo...ggg aint gettin the cotto fight....and if canelo wins he prob wont fight him for at least a year after that(which would make that nov of 2016...i cant see canelo coming right back with ggg after cotto)....so were talking a year and half ggg might get a canelo fight......ward aint gonna wait a year and a half for 168 when hes going to move up to 175......he wont come back down.....ggg has nothing better than a lemieux fight right now......now is the time for ggg/ward

    well thats kinda sad too since lil welterweight miguel cotto knocked geale out in 4

    I doubt Ward can even make 164 without looking like Geale, it's most likely either 168, or no fight and Ward can keep fighting Paul Smith level opponents at WardWeight :yep

    same for GGG, if he moves up only for Ward, he's not going back down without hurting himself, you need to understand, it can take up to 2 years for a fighter's body to get used to a new weight, and sometimes it just never fully adapts

    0 wins and fights at 160....hes never fought a fight where he or his opponent is allowed to weigh in at the mw max of 160.....0 wins or fights at the mw limit....between 154-159 is the mw minimum

    yep...difference is in 2 years....ggg will be 35 ...and well still be waiting for him to fight a p4p, elite, fighter

    This is a good fight for Golovkin, I like it. I got Golovkin by 5th round KO.

    As far as the chin question that's a hard one, like I said before the only time he's ever been quasi-down is because of a rabbit punch behind the ear, that the ref didn't see, as even Teddy Atlas is pointing out on the commentary, and even then he didn't fully go down. Rabbit punches and hitting on the break count as fouls for a reason, like when Barrera hit Manny on the break in their second fight or when Wladimir was nailed on the back of his head by Sam Peter it messed them both up quite a bit.

    So we can't really tell how good his chin is because A. He was gassed and B. It was an illegal punch. Personally I think David has that thought floating in the back of his head still and tends to not trust his chin, which shows on his face when he gets hit, you can see on his face that he worries for a second, more so than his chin actually being bad.

    Rubio has 51 KO's so he's a huge puncher and he took the rabbit punch and didn't fully go down.
    He took a few flush shots from Rosado, Gabe rocked Quillin to his core in their match, but David wasn't overly effected.
    Hassan dropped Stevens with a jab that Curtis walked in on, Hassan has decent power, and David was running headlong into them and wasn't dropped.

    So I think David's chin is better than advertised, but I'm not sure if that'll make a difference against GGG.

    Please read what you write and apply it to GGG "you dont expect GGG to move up to a division he never fought in and fight the top guy" dont you ?

    he will take 1 more tuneup and then i want to see him fight real guys , if he does , hats off , i bet he wont.
    he hasnt shown ANY interst in moving up his entire carrer , wont start now.
