How in the blue hell you can even compare sparr to a full prep fighter in a match ?

 

I'd say Abel did a hell of a lot to promote Golovkin, He was his American mouthpiece. Everywhere you turn, all boxing sites, Abel was always going on and on about Golovkin this and that, potential matchups, throwing the gauntlet down against other potential fighters. He definitely was a semi-promoter and advocate for Golovkin. I think the slick attempt at renegotiation of his fee (a standard fee that most trainers get incidentally) probably was quite humbling to Abel. I'd be pissed too.
