Triple Can will wait until he agrees to Canelo's terms. And he will wait. He wants that paycheck. People who don't think his primary goal is a huge paycheck above all else, like any fighter, are deluded. He'd have a leg to stand on if he could have drawn more than flies to his PPV. Don't cry when Canelo beats the hell out of an old Triple Can. This is how boxing works now.

I personally don't mind this fight anywhere above 154 but for me the weight argument is one of the dumbest things people bring up, doesn't every fighter rehydrate? I mean Crawford comes into the ring as a JMW Khan a MW guys like Lara a SMW/LHW hell People consider Manny Pacquiao a LW to this day and he's being hydrating up to 147 since he was at 122 and nobody claims they should move up so why is it such a big deal for Alvarez?

As far as weight as long as they fight idk GGGs words are the reason a catch weight was brought up, and honestly people must not remember Hop-Hoya,Martinez-Williams,Pac-Cotto as just a few examples of catch weight unifications or title fights as long as it reasonable and they agree fight forget all that extra fanboy sh!t.

Naw, that's you. You've done nothing but whine since Canelo beat
Cotto. Already criticizing Canelo for ducking the day after he won the title. Give it a rest.

    Fight will happen.:deal

When has Canelo every come in at 174? The highest weight he's came in at is 170/1 which is around the same as a lot of JMW?

Definitely. The catchweight stuff has gotten ridiculous. Throughout history, they were used here and there for title fights, but now it's reached insane levels.

With all the weight cutting fighters already do, it's often just an attempt to avoid a fighter or drain the opponent. I fear some fighter, most likely the smaller name who is desperate for the payday and exposure, is going to overestimate his ability to cut the weight, wind up very compromised, and get seriously hurt in the fight.

canman has fought the lineal champion AND an ATG, and hes 25. projecting that 8 years for a 33 year old canelo, canelo would be estimated to have fought at least in total 2 lineal champs and 2 ATGs

3g has fought former champ Danny geale and ibf champ lemiux and hes 33.

the evidence says its NOT Canelo ducking.

Canelo was SCHOOLED by much smaller ATG, and his close win over much smaller "lineal champion" was only achieved due to the huge size advantage. Your projection is laughable. He will end like JCCJ when he fights people of his own size.

Canelo isn't afraid, Oscar doesn't have Golovkin in Canelo's plan right now. He knows Canelo stands little chance and financially, for Oscar, it's too risky. That's why they want to delay and build it up, Golovkin's low PPV put a huge dent in the chances it happens.
